It's probably just as well you're running this and it's your list/picture. The format of that submission would likely drive a number of game runners to an apoplectic level that could power a city for a day or two (never mind numbers up/numbers down eh?)

Which (I'm not sn-iggering [oi, spellcheck that's not the feckin n-word, sheesh], not at all) simply proves the point. If anything a chart based on single sales reflects the tastes of the young or even very young. An adult would just buy the album other than in cases such as novelty and (ha!) charity singles where either the album would be too much to bear or there simply isn't one. -

It's not even about public taste though really is it? It's a very specific subset - those who bought 7" singles. I have loads of albums on vinyl (now in the loft) that includes tears for fears, pretenders, prince (stick that up yer arse creepy), simple minds and so on. Zero singles, not one. -

He and I concur on a huge range of tracks but if he's ever voted for that dratted total eclipse you and old lady are welded to I'm putting him in the stocks on an Essex village green and pelting him with overpriced groceries. -

I'm beginning to think they are married but just haven't told anyone. They are both Abba fans and in the absence of the Nordic fab four, some form of deeply heartfelt slush gets top billing. Not my thing at all, but as you say, whatever floats ones boat. They've both voted exactly the same today for instance. -

Oh he was well known here in the UK for his oven chips. (edit, and just to press home the difference between here and there, that's fries to you, what you call chips we call crisps).
