A bit of a shock, though he collapsed of exhaustion late last year. I was unsure whether this death belongs in the jazz thread or in here. I rarely watch German tv these days, but I recognise his face from when I did. Sad indeed. Yes, he was able to make intelligent television for children, explaining various phenomena of science and nature very clear and child-friendly - and funny, as his surname was. funny = lustig
