The book has closed on that Page. So much for that doggie in the window. regards, Hein

Several brave picks there. 3, 9, 15 and 20 are not very likely to get UK obits. 13 will, but seems quite healthy. regards, Hein

Seconded, just getting British for a minute...couldn't you take the 2013 Celebrity BB to court under the Trades Descriptions Act? Never having heard of either of these, I checked Wikipedia; Montag once had 10 plastic surgery procedures in a day, and her debut album was called Superficial; she is married to Pratt. It would appear that their celebrity is about the same as Chantelle Houghton's. I don't think I'll won't be watching. I suppose there would be some use to Celeb BB UK, if the location would be Moriusaq, Greenland, and all cameras carefully removed. regards, Hein

It's also not big or clever to post as a guest and throw around accusations and insults. Consider yourself Officially Warned. regards, Hein

Not if it's a Norwegian Blue. regards, Hein

dead Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh
Magere Hein replied to BirdieNumNums's topic in DeathList Forum
Hang on. I live in a bog-standard, European style monarchy, but it's not exactly cheap to the annual tune of some €110 million. That's what's directly spent through the state budget, it does not include lost revenue due to the fact that the Queen and the Prince of Orange pay no tax on income and capital. You would think they would do it properly for that price. That's one of the reasons (by no means the most important one) why I rather have a republic. regards, Hein -

One of my DDP theme team picks is Theo Bos, a Dutch footballer and footy manager. Everybody, Bos included, is certain he'll die from pancreatic cancer soon. I picked him for his scoring potential, but I'm rather worried he won't get a UK obit. What do my competitors think? regards, Hein

2013 DDP Dumping Ground And Salvage Lot
Magere Hein replied to Spade_Cooley's topic in DeathList Forum
For my main team I dropped: Harry Belafonte, George H.W. Bush, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Astrud Gilberto, Edda Göring, Mikhail Kalashnikov, Doris Lessing, Jorge Zorreguieta. For my theme team I dropped: Armando, Prince Friso of Orange-Nassau, Gijs van Lennep, Eddy Merckx, Leo Vroman. The first and last because of low obit chance, the others for lack of hit chance. regards, Hein -

Who Should Be On The 2013 Deathlist?
Magere Hein replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList Forum
As I understand it DLCC have had their annual meeting to decide on 2013's list. Further nominations are, therefore, meaningless. Late suggestions for other pools can be posted in the Ideas and Possibilities topic. Topic closed and unpinned. regards, Hein -
There were 50, but spacetime warped them into 44, perhaps caused by recursive nesting of Room 101. Upper management have been notified about this and other, related, mishap. I presume they'll think of something. regards, Hein
-
Of course it's possible. Dangerous, since spacetime's resistance to recursive nesting creates strong warp fields, but it's certainly possible. I'm sorry for your plight, but you should have known. regards, Hein

Now that was unexpected. regards, Hein

President (recumbent) Barack Obama
Magere Hein replied to Boudicca's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Now that's a topic I'm more familiar with. Gloves are off now: http://www.abc.net.a...ist-row/4445710 Yes, things are heating up. There's a constitutional aspect to this. Article 88 of the Constitution of Belgium establishes the inviolability of the King and article 101 the principle of ministerial responsibility. When King Albert likens Flemish nationalists to fascists, constitutionally speaking it's Prime Minister Di Rupo doing so through the king's mouth. While it is unusual for Belgian monarchs to make such strong statements, there's nothing wrong with it. When Flemish nationalists feel stung by King Albert's words, they're barking up the wrong tree when they're blaming him. To be continued. regards, Hein -
Being bored, I had another look at what other web sites have to say about us. I found the following amusing: My Star Collector, apparently a site for car collectors, features a blog entry about us. Not all readers approve: Encyclopedia Dramatica' date=' a Wikipedia lookalike for the comically challenged, don't like us, but we get great praise nonetheless: We have fans in Korea: Finally: according to urlspy our site has an estimated worth of $6,180.43, presumably $CAN. regards, Hein
