well...Im still drinking a lot. Slightly more important to me than posting here in fact.I take delivery of alcohol at least three times a week. Yesterday a mixed beer case from a local Brewery that delivers. However , somewhat surprisingly I have noticed that buying from Scotland is the way forward. Three days ago gin and beer from the Isle of Skye...and I have a 57% bottle coming from the Orkneys later this week . I have 10 bottles of wine and ten food items as part of a deal from Northern Italy also later this week . I need to watch out for that one for obvious reasons. ALL these are free delivery. I spend HOURS trying to find places that offer free delivery....its great fun !

Yeah...I thought the same . Still many hours left in the day for more....

Not sure all healthy fairly fit non smoking people who are catching this need ventilators though ? For them its just a bad case of man-flu..... We need to protect the ones who REALLY need help to breath .

I agree. Easy for you to say though "Grim up North" . I find it not so grim here up North currently....few infections , and fingers crossed there will be minimal deaths in Yorkshire(where I am) . Its pretty grim though for Londoners....

of course we still get it...but UK society has "flattened the curve" . So instead of 20000 deaths in UK...we might only get say 18000....cos there are a few more ICU beds and ventilators available for those of us that catch it in say late April. When EVERYONE gets it at the same time....its bad news.

Amongst Eileen's many and varied achievements was passing her driving test at 105 . She may be slightly older than most of us...but not much chance of her demise in the near future (assuming she washes her hands on a regular basis )

Quick update.... Daughter and son in law safely allowed to enter USA , and said son in law is currently watching football. Daughter is feeling ill....and is in bed. As a trained nurse , she was well capable of fooling heat scanners at immigration , however her illness may actually only be stress related (and possibly a result of jet lag) . Anyway...I am still researching the Houston semi famous elderly residents . I really do feel there is a strong possibility of a major outbreak here.....

ok....random boy(who I have never met) returns from half term holiday in Northern Italy last weekend. His father(who now expects that school to go on lock-down tomorrow(Holmfirth...watch tomorrows news) works with my wife. He breathes all over her monday to tuesday....she breathes all over me monday to tuesday. We both breath all over my daughter who is off to Houston friday. My wife and I are sneezing currently (could be man - flu...but who knows?) . I predict MAJOR outbreak in USA Southern states approx first week in March ? You need to factor this in I feel....any 100 year olds who are vaguely famous currently residing near Houston ?

My daughter and husband are (were?) off to Houston on friday for a year work secondment . Chances of being admitted to USA are what now , do you think ? What are the current screening methods? Heat sensors..?.. Swabs ? I cant believe Donald is letting all and sundry in.....

Not sure. Mrs Grobler (an avid Love Island , Dancing on Whatever etc fan) is quite upset. I think this is MAJOR news...for a few days at least.

Just listened / watched the tv interview. Once you cut through both of their tears/attention seeking etc.....ok...I get he is a bit poorly...but no need to check the obits for a few years IMHO .
