I didn't know 'Fly Fishing' had a chapter on Jade. Is it in the 'maggots/worm/bait' section?

I've been to Lourdes and it didn't cure my poorly arm. The actual site is a lovely place though - I'm not Catholic but couldn't help to be moved. Despite the crowds of tourists it's a surprisingly tranquil place. Of course, if Jade went there - ill or not - she'd shatter that peace as soon as she opened her gob... I've still got my Virgin Mary water holder (no, not tacky at all, oh no...) and a bit of holy water left over. Perhaps I should go to Jade's hospital and douse her in it. Well, I got past security with a hammer so a bit of water should be a breeze...

Other than being in a wheelchair, she looks in pretty good health. Of course, saying that, she'll be dead within the week... Dr Legg never ages, does he?

I might go and troll on DS - see how long I last before I get banned

This thread probably should be pinned so not to dilute the original Jayde Guddiey (or however you're spelling it this week) thread. And changing your predicted date shouldn't be allowed either, unless she lasts longer than most of us suspect she will.

Someone from b3ta is going to hell... Very well made.

Jade Goody was mentioned on Question Time? Wouldn't have happened in Robin Day's time... I'll go for 22 March - Mothering Sunday. That'll be nice.

Oh no, not enough one of my childhood icons about to breathe their last? Reading that article however, I'm sure Farrah went to Germany for specialist treatment early last year. Could this just be old news?

I think most of the actor contributions were from 'A Life On The Box' from 2001, so how Mollie is these days is anyone's guess. Saying that, she looked a hell of a lot better in those clips than in The Liverbirds comeback a few years earlier.

Sad news, as she's been a stalwart of UK television for as long as I remember. Still, she was my joker in the main DDP team and points are points... Quite surprised she's gone so quickly actually - I thought she'd hang on a bit longer. Do like on the BBC HYS section most of the posters are slagging off a certain other cancer sufferer saying at least Wendy Richard had some dignity. RIP

The lovely Dilys Laye has died of cancer aged 74. She appeared in four Carry On films (Doctor, Spying, Cruising and Camping). Bella Flo...

The BBC - first for breaking news (hang on, isn't that Sky News?). Only six days late...

So? And (said in my best Margo Leadbetter voice) who wants to be common anyway?

Daily Mail reports nothing that isn't already in this thread

On the contrary, what will they put in the papers after she is gone? They'll be able to concentrate on the important things in life once again. Like Diana.

According to the Perry & Croft website, Diane Holland - who played Yvonne Stuart Hargreaves in Hi De Hi - has died. There is a link, but it won't show unless you're a member.

No chance of her getting brain cancer, is there?

Bob May was the operator of the robot. Dick Tufeld (who is still alive) did the voice.

She doesn't look bad bald. Quite striking in fact. And I think that's the first positive thing I've ever written about her. I have a feeling she's on her way out though. Dunno why, just a gut instinct.

Very sad news indeed, and I say that as someone whose picture never got on Take Hart. Tony Hart probably did more for art in the UK than any of our so-called 'artists'. And, of course, another part of my childhood gone. RIP He only got on our DDP list due to Pinter carking it, so thanks Harold!

You never know, he might be "going home to die"...

US envoy to North Korea Christopher Hill was interviewed on the World Service last night. On being asked whether Kim Jong-il was dead or not, he said that he believed he had been ill but was now better and getting well again, and that there was no intelligence suggesting otherwise.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2009
Vinegar Tits replied to football_fan's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Girl looks for husband. Meets dashing young chap. "He has a most disagreeable countenance". 400 pages later they get married. No I didn't enjoy doing it at A level... -
Also arranged the two Ronnie Carroll Eurovision songs, and conducted one of them too. She'd have been the first female conductor at Eurovision if she'd had The Op earlier.

Very little as he's built like a brick shithouse. Not sure he is really....he's more like a huge tub of lard Underneath all the flab he is still a big chap. He's over 6ft and well built. And anyway, anyone who looked like that before it became fashionable will be able to handle themselves I should think. Another pun for you all - he's doing Time.
