We discussed her too not a week ago and came to the conclusion that, rather like al-Qaeda hierachy and Middle East politicians, any of them could go and you might as well pick a name at random. But yes, out of Pakistani politicians, she was the most likely target.

Conflicting reports, though if the BBC are reporting her dead - and they are notoriously cautious - then it is probably so. Pretty shocking news though it's nothing massively surprising; she really shouldn't have gone back to Pakistan Ah, declared dead for definite on the World Service. Either from the blast or possibly from gunshot wounds. Died on the operating table. So, she's the big Christmas time death I suppose. I suspect OoO may have more work cut out for him now than he had hoped...

1/4th dead Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, How long can they Carry On?
Vinegar Tits replied to a topic in DeathList Forum
I met his ex-wife the other week. Smaller than I expected. -
Doesn't mean anything - Gene Pitney was on midway through a tour when something got a hold of his heart, and Les Rita Mitsouko cancelled dates just days before mainman Fred Chicin died. But yeah, Nelson seems in pretty good nick.

Not been a good week for television producers has it? He was on my provision shortlist for next year. Either his parents or grandparents used to live down the road from my gran but I never met him.

Bummer. Wanted to see them at the 100 Club back in July but couldn't get a ticket. Rather glad I didn't buy one for their Lille gig now.

It has been confirmed by the editor of DWM on Outpost Gallifrey though nothing on the BBC website as yet. Very sad news though, and on the 44th anniversary of the first Doctor Who broadcast as well. A true pioneer in television, she'll be much missed. RIP Verity

The rumour had been doing the rounds for a week or so but it has now been confirmed that Doctor Who director Peter Moffatt died on 21 October (can't find a link other than on Outpost Gallifrey).

The Eurovision fans amongst us may remember Toše Proeski, who represented FYROM in 2004 with a little ditty called 'Life'. Sadly the tite of that has proved to be somewhat ironic as he's he's died in a car crash.

Damn, I picked the wrong Emmerdale Farm actor... Mind you, last time I saw Magill interviewed he didn't look too cracking. He should never have married Annie though - it just didn't ring true to me. I can just imagine him and Mr Wilks pulling pints and bickering in the great Woolpack in the sky. RIP

Get ready for forum meltdown - reports (Radio Five) coming in that she's died. EDIT - Confirmation that she's gone.

I voted for Whiney Whorehouse because, as someone's already pointed out, I don't think she can handle herself as well as Doherty. How's Whitney doing these days by the way?
-
Most of the picks people were complaining at are still alive though...
-
Interesting article about his current state of affairs. While he's still in the early stages of Alzheimers, everything else sounds rather grim. Perhaps it's for our resident Isle Of Man-ners to investigate further...

Shouldn't that be RIP.Board?
-
Wikipedia reporting Pav dead but, unsurprisingly enough, nowhere else is at the moment, so the fat lady is still waiting to sing.

15 points deducted. 15 BLOODY POINTS DEDUCTED!!! Isn't it about time someone put a bounty on Ken Bates' head?

Wishful Thinking Death List
Vinegar Tits replied to Monoclinic's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
He's already on my list but what the hell... Ken Bates. I don't think I need to explain this choice -
Is this referring to Dickie, and can we read the whole report? Or is it classified information that the powers-that-be are trying to suppress and you're protecting your sources? Tis indeed refering to the geat man, yes, and that is pretty much the whole report.

Sad indeed. RIP George I'm going to watch 'Smashing Time' in tribute to the great man.

I can assure you that if Hamas had kidnapped Brian Glanville instead they'd have murdered the miserable, rude bugger after about ten minutes of his sanctimonius waffle.

Not dead and finally released

A bit of info from the Brinsworth House Fluff bash, nicked from elsewhere:

For all you fans of badly-dubbed German soap opera 'Black Forest Clinic' (Schwarzwaldklinik), which was shown on Channel 4 in the Eighties, Klausjürgen Wussow (Dr Klaus Brinkmann) has died aged 78.

But the majority of us are from Yorkshire so of course we have feelings of grandeur about ourselves - there's a reason why Yorkshire is known as 'God's Own County' you know. There's two types of people - those who are from Yorkshire and those that wish they were As for our moronic fan element I agree wholeheartedly. However, I can't see them getting tired of it when there's chance of a scrap with (amongst others) Huddersfield, Millwall and another away day jolly at Bournemouth. Could do with Ken Bates popping his clogs though - both for Leeds and my DDP team.
