Stick the train botherer in Brinsworth House for the rest of his days, that's what I say! A couple of months of being wheeled in for Drake & Dicky's matinee revues will soon have him wishing he'd stayed put in Rio. Harsh but fair in my opinion. And it'd save on taxpayer's money, so everyone's a winner...except for Ronnie. Barbara Windsor (*) can finance his stay, seeing as how much she relishes the company of gangsters & their ilk. There. Sorted. (*) Note, this is the Eastenders actress & not a poorly veiled dig at our own resident Windsor, whose first name is actually Marjorie.

I'd have to dig around, but I heard that what with the movie version of Dallas being filmed soon, Hagman is sort of coaching the actor who will be playing J.R. Ewing According to the article from the Beeb website the film is still in development, John Travolta has been rumored for the part of JR, but nothing's been confirmed. It also reminds us that Charlene Tilton shall forever be the Poison Dwarf. Lindsay Lohan has been tipped to reprise Charlene Tiltons role. Latest news. I don't why...from the pic they had in yesterday's Mail of the cast as they look today (they were together to pick up some award) they all looked spry enough to reprise their old roles...especially Mizz Tilton.... The only one, in my opinion, that hadn't aged well was Mary Crosby (daughter of Bing...something I did not know until yesterday) who played the bint who shot Phil Mitchell... The accompanying blurb also commented that Hagman has turned down a second liver transplant because he's still drinking & that he used to have a £40,000 a week vintage champagne habit. Does that make him the stark, exact opposite of Clive Dunn with his £1 bottles of wine?

I suggest reading the Dicky O' thread, in its entirety, from the beginning...that should be enough to convince you to join your local library... -

For once I actually agree with Windsor, let's stop this now! I'm getting quoted so much today I feel like Groucho Marx... And Honez, I don't know if you noticed my next post after the one you post mortemed in such flattering detail, but I was actually defending the Death List...I like it here... Jeez... Oh, BTW, right now I'm listening to Coconut, off of Nilsson's Greatest Hits... -
Lol, it's not several, just Carlisle...

You know what? That is one of the most salient statements ive read on any website that ive visited/ been a member of. I dont think i have ever encountered a more incestuous bunch, so busy back slapping, being "intellectual" and so far up their own a*******s they can view the plaque on the back of their teeth. My friend, you are a genuinely intelligent kind of chap, do yourself a big favour and leave the stage to your false friends and pseudo intellectual wannabees and go and be a Dad, your greatest acheivement and joy. Farewell Deathlist, i really did try to enjoy you but you were shite. Um, I'm not quite sure whether to be flattered or upset! Salient? That's something to do with salt right? It's been a long time since someone called me inteligent, so thanks, but I don't need any tips on fatherhood & when to do so & suchlike. False friends & pseudo intellectuals some of them maybe, but I like it here. The fact that some people don't like the fact that I like it here sometimes makes me like it here even more. And I just can't believe you left yourself wide open to be so smugly jeered off like this... Oh, one more thing...incestuous? Have I missed something or is this what goes on behind the door marked 'dead chat'? -
The Battered Liver? The Squandered Second Chance Inn? Keep 'em comin'!

This, I believe, is what some people might class as a first class example of being a post whore, whilst others would consider it as paying homage to a sitcom legend. Opinion. Funny thing. And possibly funnier than an episode of Robin's Nest.

'Modless?' Is that same as being 1-Toned?

No one is, its A CAT!! (does that make me a post whore)? Yes!

Read Any Good Books Lately?
Brinsworth House Baiter replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I am very pleased to see that someone has finally mentioned my favourite genre, the Trashy Murder Mystery Novel. May I suggest Martha Grimes' Richard Jury series as a particularly excellent series. Each book, named after the pub around which the story takes place, involves the same set of characters, standard eccentricities in tow: attractive and exceedingly clever detective, ever-dilligent sargent, particularly eccentric millionaire Lord-who-has-abandoned-his-title, etc. Also, there is usually a troubled but quirky and ever-so-clever child involved, often with a pet of some sort. Although stock, these novels are thoroughly entertaining, and involve little to no thought to read, which for me makes a book particularly enjoyable. Other favoured TMMN series include Lillian Jackson Braun's The Cat Who mysteries, although I must admit that when I read the last one (after having not read one for a number of years) it was a bit too mindless and formulaic, even for me. Thank you, sir, I shall keep an eye open for them in the charity shops. Currently reading Frank Skinner by Frank Skinner & a mighty fine read it is too. Never used to go in for autobiographys as I never wanted to read about other people's success, luck & good fortune, but now I'm nearing forty & it has become painfully obvious that I shan't amass any of my own, I feel the need to read about others. And mutter 'jammy bastards' with every page I turn. -
Are You A Post Whore?

This whole thread is like, irony, right? My name is Brinsworth House Baiter & I am a recovering Post Whore. It is a wilting, debilitating disease, sometimes brought on by over-exuberance, having a fun time, but more often than not, by an overwhelming need to moan about other's posts & quality thereof. I have sought therapy, by choice as against having my warn meter filled & my stay in the Priory being enforced by Mods. I feel much better, but am left with the underwhelming feeling of confusion regarding when or not to post. I find myself spending so much time perplexing over the quality & merit of what I wish to say & whether it will appease 'the good ol' boys' that I find myself not bothering & seeking out other forums. No doubt that this is what they desire, but it is all rather like finding yourself eventually let in to a club by a churlish, begrudging doorman & having to spend the whole of the rest of the night desperately trying not to piss anyone off so that said doorman doesn't beat you up & throw you out. -

I think that would sell really well branded as the Josco Junior range. Mini Josco PJs, romper suits, nappies, you should take it to Mothercare. Oh, don't. I was actually dragged around the commercial Hell that is Mothercare the other day. Did you realise that you can actually buy designer shoes for your baby by Jimmy Shoo? Fifteen quid a pair! I mean, they can't even walk yet, let alone appreciate the fact that wearing designer globber makes you a vacuous t*at! Having said, I was very tempted to buy her a pair of England football ones with the Three Lions on them...it being World Cup year & all... I do want one of these Josco bibs though... -
Ideas and possibilities for 2007

Three for 2007: Doug Ellis, Aston Villa chairman (he's famous enough in my opinion...infamous in my eyes...as he'll definetely get a mention on the back pages) George Cole...After seeing him on that docu about Minder I'm still not convinced that he hasn't died all ready & risen from the grave. And as my rank outsider, Clint Eastwood. No reason & I hope he doesn't as he's one of my heroes, but I just gotta feeling, you know? -
I suppose you are right because people tend to die in clusters depending on their job description. Good point. Soldiers being an obvious example. Doesn't that baby of yours need changing. No, I think we'll keep this one...

Hugh Lloyd was in the last series of Doc Marten (he was the old codger with the dead bird in his handbag...gripping plot...) He didn't look to bad to me for a man of his age.

Who needs a reason to revive Mollie. At least her work on "Are you being served?" is still funny, Review "It's a wonder I'm here at all. My pussy got soaking wet. I had to dry it out in front of the fire before I left." - Mollie Sugden as Mrs. Slocombe, TV gold IMO. Unlike Dickie O's mediocre "Man About the House", shite, review No, Dicky never had to resort to smut in order to get a laugh. Quite possibly the last gentleman comic, lol. Talking of Are You Being Served, got the film version DVD with the Sun last week & am looking forward to watching it. As I am Till Death Us Do Part, which they gave away yesterday. Ah, Alf Garnett, a true comedy legend.

I'm just coming to the end of Caroline Graham's 'The Killings At Badger's Drift', which is the first of the 'Midsomer Murders' novels. Bought it in a charity shop years ago & have avoided reading it to be truthful, as I was expecting it to be a bit 'twee', given the genial nature of the television adaptation. How wrong I was, as it is a stonking good read & imagine my shock to find the F word being used! In Midsomer! What is the world coming to? -

Friendly! Um, no I don't think this is a Second Coming... I was merely saying hi & sharing my happy news. I have no wish to be drawn into a spat, sir...if you don't like what I have to say, wouldn't it be more civil to simply ignore me? -
I don't wish to make light of your early hour sterling work, but I love the intro to that link.... Rep. Curt Weldon, who broke the Able Danger story last year.... Able Danger? How 1950's comic book is that? 'And Able Danger saved the day, yet again, for Mister Winston Churchill.'

Nobody deserves to die like 9/11 or Madrid,it happens,George W is more guilty than Osama, you wont get the truth here. See Winsdor for further details. Jokes aside - they bring the war to us ,we reciprocate. Again, why was my name slipped in there? What's all that about? I reckon that its some sort of conspiracy. Infamy - infamy, they all got it in for me. Ah, the classic Carry On quote... glad to see standards haven't slipped since I've been away... -
Ah Pooka... So pleased to see you still keeping the faith.... So, whilst I was undercover so many things have changed...just being here now might earn a black mark, lol.... Undercover....Well...Dickie O' has told me that this is keeping him jolly and he's laughing at Windsor/Tf and suchlike, whom celebrated this post breaking the 1000 mark whilst knocking its sincerity/worth...lol... Maryport...How're Carslisle doing? (sic... it's St.Patrick's DSay so who cares?) Up the Villa! What FA Cup? Godot & Doctor Hacky and aoll the other friends made on here...had a baby girl....she's a star, but not worthy of any list yet... So...ya deathlisting prudes, ya'll missed me or what?
