Most Significant Death For Every Year From 1963 To Present
Brinsworth House Baiter replied to chicago103's topic in DeathList Forum
Affected millions? What, like: 'Wow, man, d'ya see that? Woh, that's gotta hurt! Pass the Pringles.' Or 'Hey, get in here quick and bring some beers with you, you just gotta see the action replay of this!' Cheers, BHB -
I have to say that Sally Thomsett still looks absolutely doable in that picture. The sands of time have indeed been kind to her. Either that or the surgeon's knife has. The same however can not be said of our hero, who looks as though he was in the throes of another stroke- although, to give him the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he's been so long out of the limelight that he's forgotten how to pose for the camera. Cheers, BHB

Fantastic quote from that Guardian link: 'Later that year Hazlewood wrote These Boots Are Made for Walking and instructed Sinatra to sing it "like a 16-year old girl who f**ks truck drivers".' I shall never be able to listen that particular ditty in the same light again... Cheers, BHB

If he has not practiced loosening his sphincter, Big Bubba his cell mate certainly will. Do think he would rather be Mummy or Daddy His only hope is that he enjoys it!!! Hell mend him To rework an old joke: Langham: Um, I'm your new cell mate. Big Bubba: Do you wanna be mummy or daddy? Langham (thinking quickly): Um, if I have to choose I think I'd rather be daddy. Big Bubba: Okay, come here and suck mummy's cock. Cheers, BHB

I reckon you're right, Millwall. He doesn't strike me as a man who'll be able to handle jail time. Then again I never thought Johnathan King would serve more than a week of his time without swinging himself from a rolled up blanket. I've always thought that it takes a certain amount of guts to actually take your life, and the question is whether Langham has that amount. Cheers, BHB

O of O, an answer. I think you might be right, actually. The Davis sale was a strange one and I'm still puzzled by the sales of Samuel and McCann. Then to let Angel (our previous record signing) to go on a free, along with Djemba-Djemba (sic?) without trying to recoup a bean does seem bad business. Okay, they were both crap but I'm sure we could have got something for 'em. My earlier post was fuelled by hungover bravado, I fear. Yes, yesterday was a mere friendly and I have gotten carried away over a result gained against a bunch of Italians who didn't really get out of second gear unless it meant booting one of our boys three foot in the air. You can't blame us Villa fans. Doug's gone, we've got a billionaire in charge of the purse strings and we still aren't spending, whilst flogging off a whole starting eleven. We were led to believe that this is a brave new dawn, but it would appear we'll be scraping around the bargain bins during the course of the next week. Is it any wonder I drink? Cheers, BHB

Most Significant Death For Every Year From 1963 To Present
Brinsworth House Baiter replied to chicago103's topic in DeathList Forum
For 1967 there's a choice between Jayne Mansfield, Joe Orton or Otis Redding, depending on your perspective of most significant. For example, I would have thought Sharon Tate's homicide in 69 was more significant than Eisenhower's death, but opinions would no doubt vary wildly on most years. Nice idea for a list and I'm very tempted to fill in the rest of the blanks, but I'll let someone else have a go. Cheers, BHB P.S. And surely the most significant death of 2007 so far would be Saddam? Or 2006, whenever it was when he swung. -
Well, after yesterday's thrashing of the mighty Inter Milan, I'm pretty happy with Villa's chances of qualifying for Europe this coming season. Despite 9 bodies leaving and only bringing 2 in so far, Messiah O' Neil seems to have got the boys firing and playing some lovely attacking stuff. Barry was a God yesterday, Young looks as though he's a prospect and Moore and Agbonlahor have the pace to turn a few defences ragged. Yep, the sleeping giant is awakening. Having said that, a couple of injuries would completely bollocks our season, so let's hope the Messiah starts splashing old Randy's billions soon and brings in a few to bolster the squad. Come on Villa! The future's claret and blue. Cheers, BHB

Answer supplied LFN, James Blades Do you not have the Interweb in your house, LFN? And just how does the name Atarah Ben Tovim enter your brain and not leave? Randomly? I mean, really? Hardly on the tip of your tongue stuff, is it? Not exactly clitoral, non? Cheers, BHB -

The Eighth 2007 Success Poll
Brinsworth House Baiter replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList Forum
She doesn't appear to be on the list, but I don't care, being a recalcitrant... Margaret Thatcher, unfortunately, gawd bless 'er... I tell thee, although not in a confident 'I'm called Iain and I'm a twat' kind of stylee... It's just a feeling in my water I've been having lately...like razor blades...any ideas, anyone? That Bangkok ladyboy I slept with last month also reckons Maggie's gonna cop it soon. Now, about my fiery urine... -

I didn't realise the Daily Express still existed ... but they'd be top of my list of national newspapers which will soon die How can anyone be so ignorant as to not realise the Daily Express still exists? I don't read the thing, but I see it there, every morning, nestling aside my favoured copy. Despite the absence of Giles I am sure you can omit the Express from your Death List. If you're not too busy lamenting and defending the convicted paedophile Chris Langham of course... Cheers, BHB -

How he has the will to live when he has a wife like that beats me Sharon Osbourne beats you? Be careful MTV don't get to hear about it, they might commission a series. I'd watch. Cheers, BHB -
Seen Any Good Films Lately?
Brinsworth House Baiter replied to Cowboy Ronnie's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
'Tis a good flick indeed, and I say that as someone who can take the first ones and leave them. The computer nerd? I thought he worked very well to bring the Mclane (?sic?) character to the modern cinematic audience. Best line in the film was when he was attempting to bring the power grid back on, Mclane told him to hurry up and he said something like 'it's not like I'm just retreiving my e-mails here.' Top film, just for the scene in the tunnel when that car lands on 2 other cars and just misses his head. BTW- it's called Die Hard 4.0 over here in Blighty. No wonder I had such a hard job downloading a cover for my not so legit DVD before the film came out over here... Cheers, BHB -

Well, I'm hardly a veteran stalwart etc. But, as Hacky, Pooka and possibly Godot would agree, I do feel that the Dicky O' thread, in its prime last year, would certainly constitute to the DL's Golden Age.... Is there a red rag emoticon...? Cheers, BHB- 2,947 replies

Terrorists & Topical Terrorist Targets
Brinsworth House Baiter replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
Mmmm, Good point. But did you really have to go and get all heavy about it? Where's the downers... I do take your point though, and it is a good one, but hey, let's all rejoice anyway as there's one less terrorist scumbag on this planet jeapardising our loved ones. Cheers, BHB -

Hoorah! Where are your eighty virgins sitting on a cloud now, eh? Cheers, BHB -
Top post above, Harvester. Pretty much sums up how any right minded person feels. Youth In Asia wrote: Mentally unstable girl? Has she been proven as such? Trying to help? What? By banging her (underage or 18 as admitted by Langham)? Strange idea of help. I was under the impression that the websites he accessed were very much related to paedophilia- is that not why Paul Whitehouse was called to the dock, to rubbish Langham's claims that his accessing the pictures were for script writing research? The Daily Mail might well be guilty of many things, but I think it's a bit much to attempt to dump the blame for the demise of Langham's career upon their doorstep. We'll see in days to come, I guess, but I think that the authorities have been waiting for a high profile paedophile other than the holidaying Glitter & unrepentant King to make an example of and Langham could well be it. And if he's done what he's been accused of doing then they should cut his cock off and feed it to him. Simple as that. I'm with Harvester every step of the way on this one. Cheers, BHB

Ozzy Osbourne
Brinsworth House Baiter replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList Forum
I think old Ozzy has a good few years left in him in yet. Well, mebbe not that good, considering the state of him, but I imagine him to to carry on and become the epitome of the doddering, shaking and incontinent old fart. He strikes me as having that 'f**k 'em' attitude that will see him live to a ripe old age just to piss people off and thwart those amongst us here who have him on their list. Now, his son is a different matter. With his liking of extreme sports there is the possibility of some terrible accident befalling him whilst ironing board surfing or whatever the f**k it is he does over in cable land. As for the daughter, I suspect and hope that she will go the same way as her mother probably will and asphyxiate when her head disappears so far up her own arse that retraction becomes a physical impossibility. Cheers, BHB -
Forget JFK, I reckon Rod Hull's topple from the roof whilst attempting to fix the aerial is the one death where everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news... Cheers, BHB
