Four down 'Bright Lights' and 19 across 'Milk Teeth' are about the only decent clues.
-
40 Down is the 10 letter answer 'LINKIN'.

By no stretch of the imagination can that be called a crossword. The 'cryptic' clues are awful, solo artistes are referred to as 'bands', 40 down is two words - 6,4 - yet there are only six spaces, some clues don't say whether it's a song title or performer and your latest clue "McCoy's producer might have said this to him in more exuberant moments (song) (5,6,5)" has only 15 spaces in which to write a 16 letter answer (similar to many other 'clues').

It can be seen in Thurso at 25 degrees above the horizon and very low in the sky at 15 degrees in Lerwick. The further south you are, the higher in the sky it will be. This is one of those passes where it disappears into the Earth's shadow whilst still relatively high in the sky (at 1851:11 hrs GMT).

You got the red super giant Antares in that shot as well. Saturn can be located within the white circle and he's on his way to meet up with Venus on the 18th February.

Betty Driver Memorial Soapstar Superstar Thread

I'm still trying to find an episode of Win Lose or Draw with him in it along with Danny Baker, Coleen Nolan, Maureen Nolan, Paul Coia, some woman named Pam and a bloke who's name eludes me. It's a cracking episode so I'm told. -

Martha Ross, mother of Jonathan and Paul Ross, has died at the age of 79. She was in EastEnders for 20 years before being sacked. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-6647865/Jonathan-Ross-reveals-wonderful-loving-glamorous-mother-Martha-passed-away.html -
It's currently minus 43 celsius and no wind at Yakutsk Airport in Russia. They have to wrap the tyres of aircraft in heated 'blankets'.

My games teacher was Tony Borrington who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire.
-
So you said it's an artiste but it's actually a band and it's 8,6 not 7,6?
-
Song title has three words. First word six letters, second word seven letters, third word four letters. Artiste has two words, seven and six letters.
-
You were 41 minutes too early.

You must've had cloud cover then. The moon was 31 through 22 degrees above the western horizon in Glasgow during totality. Cloudy here in Leicester too.

You also got Castor (at the very top) and Pollux (just below, to the right and brighter) as well. Didn't you stay for totality?

I would think that vehicles driven by Liz and Phil are crown vehicles and as such they aren't insured because they are underwritten by the government. I don't know if it still is the case but this sort of incident was usually prosecuted by the police and not the crown; so it would appear as Police v Prince Philip.

Quim's on the first of two legs on his journey back to Blighty. https://www.flightradar24.com/QTR901/1f3b075b N.B. Large portions of the flight are out of range of the tracker. He's on a double-decker 'bus from Perth to Doha. EDIT: Landed 0209hrs GMT 20th January.

Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

Well called, that's a 707; they used to inject water into the engine which produced the smoke. All these years later after first considering re-engining B52s they still haven't decided.
