If you want to wind up Creepy, post it in the How Long Until We're Dickless? thread as well.

I'll wager she puts her tuppence in just as Peggy Roofer did about what she wanted when she croaked.

The aircraft involved was an Airspeed Ambassador 2 and only 23 were ever built. One survives and is on display at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford in a non-flying condition.

First one I ever saw was about 50 years ago in my brother's car; the last one was about 40 years ago in a friends car when we were at college. Didn't see many in between to be honest.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pythonidae "Contrary to popular belief, even the larger species, such as the reticulated python, P. reticulatus, do not crush their prey to death; in fact, prey is not even noticeably deformed before it is swallowed. The speed with which the coils are applied is impressive and the force they exert may be significant, but death is [primarily] caused by cardiac arrest." (Yes, it's Wikipedia, but there are supporting links.) I read (or saw/heard) somewhere that constrictors can feel the heartbeat due to the physical contact and continue to squeeze their prey until they can no longer feel it; they then devour said prey.
