I bought a 3kg gammon joint from Morrisons for nine quid on Thursday and cooked it overnight in the oven on the slow-cooker setting. I left it to cool on Friday before putting it in the fridge and this afternoon I'm going to slice it and freeze it. Proper cooked ham. You'll pay four or five times the price at the deli counter.

I spent just over 20 quid in a supermarket at lunchtime and paid by debit card. I've just checked my bank account and the money hasn't been reserved as it usually is. My actual balance and the available balance read the same amount.
