This brings back memories of playing around the ruins when taken to Abbey Park as a child. My first part-time job was at the RHM bakery which is just over the road from the enterence to Abbey Park closest to Pets Corner. It's not there any more, they pulled it down and built a B&Q; then that burned down and they rebuilt it. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.6501363,-1.1395104,3a,90y,220.93h,85.98t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sGWmxGu5DUkn3suzFePXN5Q!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 I worked at the bakery too, from about 1987 to 1990. Wasn't that fire a little bit suspicious. The old entry way was listed I think. A nine year old lad set fire to some thinners in the paint section. When they rebuilt it they included a sprinkler system, unlike the first one.

(Return Of) The Celebrity Split List
Cat O'Falk replied to Cowboy Ronnie's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I'm still surprised that Carla Bruni stuck beside Nicolas Sarkozy after he lost the presidency. Maybe she is counting on him getting it back. Or maybe he's got a massive cock. You might be on to something. Maybe it looks that way because his body is disproportionally short. Sarah Brightman married Andrew Lloyd-Webber because 'he's got the biggest willy'. -
I'm told you can never have too many beavers. I wouldn't know though.

I know there's a time difference between the U.K. and the U.S. but I didn't realise it is 30 years.

Most people only remember him from being on double-glazing adverts, but before that he was one of those people that always used to turn up on panel games on the radio, Any Questions and that sort of thing. No idea why. His day job was a farmer and he was the first celebrity in dictionary corner on the first episode of Countdown. -
Lord Chancellor to King Henry VIII, Cardinal Thomas Wolsey died on this day in 1530 aged 57. He's buried a couple of miles up the road from me although his grave is symbolic as the exact position within Abbey Park is unknown. Map: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/52%C2%B038'56.8%22N+1%C2%B008'10.7%22W/@52.6491121,-1.137431,190m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x0 Following the University of Leicester's finding of the grave of King Richard III, there have been calls to go looking for Tommy.
