Betty Driver Memorial Soapstar Superstar Thread
Cat O'Falk replied to M Busby Airlines's topic in DeathList Forum
It's rolling and it's way down near the bottom of the page. Quote: Coronation Street creator Tony Warren was on home turf and on fine form when he received an award at the Salford International Media Festival last night. Warren, now 79, created the soap 55 years ago. After clips of its early years were shown, he joked that he had been "haunted by those characters" for 50 years. After being presented with the conference's inaugural achievement award trophy, he said the character that haunts him the most is Ena Sharples. I'm left wondering just what Ena would have made of this. She'd say, 'Oh yes, yes, very nice, very nice. One more ornament to dust. Not much dusting done in your house anyway.' It puts me in mind of one thing and one thing only. I bet it's not occurred to you but it's occurred to me. This could be the last monument you see before the actual gravestone. Ena would surely tell him not to be so daft. -

Don't call him Shurely. (I'm presuming he's not changed his name again.) -
Being HIV+ is no longer a death sentence! If Charlie's positive and taking the medication (which he can more than afford), he's more likely to die from summat like a car crash.

Sorry MPFC, BBC2's London Spy was my toss of preference.

And if he doesn't, you'll be on a warning for getting our hopes up.Shouldn't this be in the Famous with HIV thread? http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=2227 He's hardly likely to drop dead next year from being HIV+ Edit: Or even his own thread. http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=7825 Exactly this fits in the 2016 thread because he is suggesting charlie sheen also IF he has hiv he could scramble quicker than usual because of his health problems in the past. MK, name just one person who's had cause of death, HIV+ on their death certificate.

Terrorists & Topical Terrorist Targets

I heard the bombs had "with love from Paris" written on them. They were American bombs, not French. They could have still put that note on the bombs, just becuase it's not France dropping the bombs doesn't mean vengeance isn't possible.I think the French would write avec l'amour de Paris on their bombs.the Americans could have put it on for them also I never specified who put it on or what language it was written in, all I heard was the bombs had "from Paris with love". That isn't how it reads. Bottom line is they were American. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3320252/From-Paris-Love-Emotive-message-revenge-scrawled-U-S-Hellfire-missiles-destined-Syria.html -

Only one election with an outright winner since Hitler. That was in 1957. Ooh and that's my 500th post. Congratulations! -
Terrorists & Topical Terrorist Targets
Cat O'Falk replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
First past the post works only in two party politics (and not always); it's about time it was scrapped in a multi-party society. 37% of the vote and 100% of the power isn't right. Force the buggers to work together instead of against each other. Germany is hardly the sick man of Europe; I can't be arsed to look it up but does anyone know how many coalition governments out of how many they've had since the end of WWII? -
I've had loads of gingers but never one with red hair.
