As a fellow Lancastrian and Fred fan, I'm keeping an eye out for any news on his health, but haven't seen anything other than what's on this thread. Even his own website doesn't say anything about it: http://www.fred-dibnah.co.uk Deathlist.net - your one-stop shop for morbid news.

Hey, they've changed the headline of that Sky Sports article. It did read "Fuchs Wants Kuntz Talks", but someone's toned it down. But still not as good as the Daily Mirror's effort when a certain doddery former Labour leader was elected chairman of a committee looking into nuclear disarmament: "Foot Heads Arms Body".

I'd certainly heard of him, but that's probably because I used to read the Sunday Post. Jings, crivvens, help ma boab!

Ian Paisley in a Celtic shirt?? Nice bit of Photoshopping there!

Argh, my eyes, my eyes! As for Wilfred Brambell not being recognised by the BBC club staff when not made up as old man Steptoe, does that mean they wouldn't let him into the building, wouldn't serve him at the bar, or something like that?

God, Mr & Mrs was sooo painful to watch, but strangely addictive. "Now, Walter, you've been married to Edna for 56 years. Nice easy question to start with - is she left-handed or right-handed?" "Er, left-handed, Derek?" "Try again, Walter. Take your time this time..." If this site is up to date, it sounds like he's still working, and you can even hire him for corporate events, shop openings and bar mitzvahs. Woohoo.

Jeez, have you checked out the discussion forums on that site? Full of people making sickly sweet comments about complete strangers who died over 100 years ago. "Verda, you are such a sweet child, you must be with your mommy and daddy by now." No sh1t, Sherlock - the photo was taken in about 1870. -
Typhoid Harry's Obscure List Of Dead People
Rude Kid replied to Typhoid Harry's topic in DeathList Forum
You're not wrong! I have an idea to solve the problem of non-famous 'celebs' being picked in next year's DDP. I meant to discuss it with Siegfried when I saw him the other evening, but somehow managed to forget. -
It's like a North Korean ballot paper. Or a Floridian one, come to that.
-
...as does laughably bad spelling like that. Are you brave enough to post the URL of your site, so that we can see what your idea of "proffessional" is?

'80s singer Laura Branigan dies suddenly at 47...I was going to put this in the 'Dead Losses' thread, but I guess it was too unpredictable to count as a miss. http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/livin...ple/9525414.htm

Hmm, an 8-year-old with Tourette's syndrome, moreover. On reflection, I probably could've chosen a more flattering persona...

And another one: 'On Death And Dying' author dies Actually, I shouldn't laugh too much - about 3 or 4 years ago, two of the competitors in the DDP died...

Should Typhoid Harry have the poison frog avatar ?
Rude Kid replied to Stayin Alive's topic in DeathList Forum
Sounds good, and what a car to have at 17! Anyway, back to the original question - no he bloody shouldn't have the poison frog avatar, now that I've gone and made him another one! -

Cool car Harry - got much work left to do on it? Gay Knight Rider car indeed! Tsk. As for an avatar, how about one of these - both the right size: Typhoid Mary: Pantera: -

Real Life vs the Internet (WMV format, 3.4MB) Very true, especially the bit about mail! -
If you sign up to www.celebritydeathbeeper.com, you get an email every time someone (very vaguely) famous (in America) dies.

I imagine they'll certainly be asking how you knew about NAMBLA. Are they infamous in the States then?

What the...? Jeeesus H Christ on a pogo stick! Please tell me that ain't for real...

He does. Can you imagine his horror when he left the UK for Sri Lanka, only to find that he'd accidentally moved to a country that (a) didn't have an extradition treaty with Britain, and (b ) is notorious for turning a blind eye to wealthy foreigners with a love of children? Nightmare.

Talking of the Olympics, I see Britain's won 2 gold medals for white-water rafting... ...the winning team were two blokes from Boscastle in a Transit van.

Yeah, took a while, but they got there in the end. I liked this comment though: One word, and he managed to spell it wrong. Good work, Mr Goddard!
