Cool. I had no idea he was on tour in the US. -
July 20th? I was celebrating my birthday

Danny Amis founder member of The Raybeats and Los Straitjackets is currently in intensive care for a blood infection
-
I couldn't find him listed anywhere, but I was thinking one longshot to consider would be former G'n'R drummer Steven Adler. He had two strokes back in 95 and also suffered a heart attack shortly afterwards. Also he's never been able to really kick his drug habit.
-
If he's still in the US. that's quite an achievement
-
He may actually still be alive since Wikipedia have removed his date of death.
-
Let's hope he gets a QO
-
He was also the guitarist for The Woggles

Please say "hi" from me. Is it just Otway and Barrett, or will the Big Band be there too? -

All in the space of one day I got to see Nashville Pussy, Guitar Wolf, The Turbo AC's, and last but definitely not least, The 5.6.7.8s. It was my job on Sunday to help unload their equipment, show them to the green room. Each band autographed and album or two for me, and during my breaks got to hang out with them. -
Mark Robertson, former bass player for Legendary Shack Shakers, has just been released from hospital after being treated for a ruptured appendix.

Judy Yates passed away early this morning. -
Sylvain Sylvain from New York Dolls is receiving treatment for cancer. There is a GoFundMe page which offers very little information as to where on his body, or even how minor or severe it is.

I have met him. I was kicked out of Brit's pub about 12 years over an argument about the difference between a steak & kidney pie and a steak & kidney pudding

Judy Yates, mother-in-law to Dick Dale has entered hospice care. It's been a crap year for Lana Dale. First her husband, now she's about to lose her mum. -
I got to know him a few years ago when he recorded a couple of songs with Los Straitjackets. The project was almost shelved as the a-side was a song called "When The Sox are Rockin" about the Boston Red Sox (Freddy's favourite baseball team) so we weren't sure how many would be interested. So I spent time talking to radio stations in Massachusetts, and the gift shop at Fenway Park to generate interest. The single was eventually released for Record Store Day 2013 which coincided with the 101st anniversary of Fenway Park. Freddy was under the impression that it would be a major Billboard hit. But we only pressed 1,000 copies. 6 years on, we still have copies available. Nonetheless, Freddy was grateful and he sent me a signed photo, CD and a t-shirt.

I emailed him yesterday, got a reply back within a couple of hours. While he is expected to fully recover, I suspect he may decide to retire and perhaps do the occasional festival from time to time. It's a shame that he had to cancel, as I know Eddie Angel was going to try to get him to sing Palisades Park while standing next to the fountain.

Not dead, but as far as I know, not hospitalized. Freddy Cannon who was scheduled to replace Wanda Jackson at this year's Viva Las Vegas, has had to cancel due to ill health. He appears to be in good spirits and his illness doesn't appear to be too serious, but he is under doctor's orders to take it easy.

I will need to check my list and see who is missed off.
