BrunoBrimley 86 Posted July 8, 2005 I am of course concerned that the U.K. may be hit with the same tragic end that befell Guam after the Autumnal Olympics of 1932. You may well not remember them as all the candidates mysteriously disappeared before they left there. The only solution the Olympics Committee could arrive at was to disband any future Autumnal Olympic Games--and of course have their secretaries disavow any knowledge of Guam or the Third Naval Fleet. I for one as an American I am thrilled beyond compare to the fact that you English folks got those tourist trap olympics.
