Brief recap of hospitalised folks, now that most DP entries are closed:

6)Fuad Noman (1947): mayor of Belo Horizonte, on life support with acute respiratory failure. Has suffered from lymphoma for years and has been hospitalised multiple times in 2024.

Fuad Noman back in ICU, ventilator and scheduled to undergo tracheostomy so that the ventilator can be put there for better respiratory support.

Just two days ago he was off ventilator, out of ICU for a bit and swore in a statement that he will return "with even more enthusiasm and dedication, to continue leading our beloved Belo Horizonte"

In the late 1990s, Fender joined another supergroup, Los Super Seven, with Joe Ely, Los Lobos' David Hidalgo and Cesar Rosas, Flaco Jimenez, Ruben Ramos, and country singer Rick Trevino.

Flaco Jiménez hospitalised. Sounds like he has been in poor health for a while, this time it is just a "minor health concern"

I didn't want to post it even though this story was from December.

Parashqevi Simaku (Wiki), the Albanian Madonna of Communism has been taken to the New York Psychiatric Hospital and her condition is reported to be not at all good.

No one from my country has seen her since immigrating to America in the 1990s. Not even her family. She was and is an icon in my country, a sex symbol and completely fell off the radar. Finally on December 2024 she was found as a homeless woman in a subway station where she was collecting food and clothes for herself.

She was found by an Albanian businessman living in New York and received first aid, living well. From there she met her American ex-husband and her son who knew she was dead. This issue really became a big deal here, but as I see her mental state is still not good, even though things were arranged for her.

Marinella out of the ICU after three weeks.

Marinella still in hospital after four months, but her top level denial entourage insists "it's perfecly normal" and "she will come out victorious".

Also Andrew Young has been discharged, of course.
