Typhoid Harry's Obscure List Of Dead People

Recommended Posts

I couldn't see in the entire article what he actually died of.

Maybe he didn't - he's just vegetating as a few cells in a beaker waiting to be reborn ?

:D

"Suddenly" is usually indicative of an accident or foul play.

Afraid it was neither. It was a big story up here (local interest and all that) - Dr Clarke had apparently been suffering from depression for a number of months, and only recently returned to work. When he didn't turn up after leaving home as normal, a search was undertaken, and his body was found at his home in Cove, which is about an hour from Edinburgh.

So, cause of death has been classed as suicide, with no foul play involved.

Presumably Dolly wasn't keen on him.

I dont' know - create you dream, er, partner, and they just don't care.

Same thing happened to Frankenstein.

Never heard of him so cant be counted as a miss. Perhaps his fame didn't stretch across the Atlantic.

Even an obituary in The Guardian for this guy - but, as has been posted here before, a goods proportion of the obits in The Guardian are for people clearly below the DL famousness qualification level. Of course, would have been a valid pick for DDP ;)

Have u been searching the UK newspapers for obits of people Ive never heard of Harry?? Very successful project if that's the case!

Again, unless she's related to that nice Italian beer, I had now idea who she was.

I don't suppose you have access to next year's newspapers do you??

None of the above. (Lord, how I wish that were an option on the ballot in the upcoming US presidential election!)

I am involved in the film industry on a support level. Obits like these arrive in the Variety subscriber's daily enews. Gerry Peroni was one of those behind-the-scenes forces on many, many films. Check her out at IMDB.com .

Hmm... behind-the-scenes is probably the antithesis to famous.

;)

Doubtlessly so, GR, I just post these as information. I'm involved in a Hollyweird DP that counts some very obscure individuals. I only post here the ones I think might be mildly interesting. You'd be amazed the number of gaffers, grips and Fx techs who jump the shark every year.

You're not wrong! I have an idea to solve the problem of non-famous 'celebs' being picked in next year's DDP. I meant to discuss it with Siegfried when I saw him the other evening, but somehow managed to forget. drunk2.gif

Minako Honda, Japanese pop singer and performer in musicals.

Has died aged 38 from myelocytic leukemia.

Not only an obscure person but an obscure illness too.

It was Sunday before I realized that the sun had set earlier the following day. So I figured out that it was time to once more ask one of the more meaningless meaningful questions...why did this topic take such a nose dive? Did it have anything to do with TH and his controlling mannerless mannerism? Or was it that others had no interest on the matter?> Maybe it was sadly the starting of the not nearly famous threads which exist.

At any rate the Atalanta meat company seems to still be in existance.
