My only comment - I think at least one of Eastwood and Hackman will be on the 2021 list. Maybe both.

If the committee does plan on including Clint Eastwood next year, I would suggest they turn instead in the direction of Hackman, Jeff Bridges, Jack Nicholson, Robert Wagner or even Robert Redford. I feel Eastwood would be a lazy pick for 2021.

Who’s to depart first out of Hackman and Eastwood?

 

Both look similarly frail in recent photos. I’d still say Hackman will go first even though he could still drive as of March 2023; Eastwood meanwhile can still direct a movie!
