BBC reports that Prince Rainier is fading rapidly. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/4400529.stm

What i can't stand about the BBC and ITN News is that they feel the need to show this vulgar display of greef up and down the British Isles in all Catholic Cathedrals and Churchs. Report on the poor mans well being, not all these Catholic peasants crying and sobbing, i mean ....please!!!! EG

Doesn't look like Prince Rainier has much time left as BBC, Hello and Wiki are all reporting that Prince Albert has taken regin of Monaco due to his father being to ill to carry out offical duties. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/4398497.stm http://www.hellomagazine.co.uk/royalty/200...1/princealbert/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Albert...Marquis_of_Baux http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainier_III%2C_Prince_of_Monaco

Grand Duchess Josephine-charlotte(luxembourg's Qm)
Earl Gloomy replied to Earl Gloomy's topic in DeathList Forum
I regret starting this thread seen as there have been alot of rubish remarks are being expressed on it. Josephine-Charlotte was head of state in Luxemborg; the fact her brother was King of Belgian was a minor point. -
He said something ( no1 knows quite what though) on the balcony of his appartment as part of the Easter Day service in Rome today, with great difficulty. BBC reported the apperance as moving but i don't think i like seeing someone dieing on the spot; then again i supose it was moving to see him fight on like that.

Ofcourse he's conscious again, the pope blessed him didn't he?
-
Damn didnt see the other prince Rainier link-sorry- EG

On the 8th March Prince Rainer was taken to hospital due to a lung infection and on the 21st March he was placed into intensive care. (Monaco's prince always seems to be left off offical royal guest lists at Buckingham Palace, obviously fallen with Lillibet along the way at some time or another). BBC, Wiki and Hello tell more on his condition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Rainier http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/4372881.stm http://www.hellomagazine.com/royalty/2005/...3/princealbert/ EG (topic merged ATJ)

Grand Duchess Josephine-charlotte(luxembourg's Qm)
Earl Gloomy replied to Earl Gloomy's topic in DeathList Forum
What's that got to do with Luxembourg's Queen Mother? Anyrate I wouldn't call Luxembourg a far away land that no-one has heard of, Grand Duchess Joesphine-Charlotte was queen of Luxembourg except that Luxembourg call their Heads of Sate Grand Duke and Grand Duchess also it just happen that Grand Duchess Joesphine-Charlotte's brother is King Albert of the Belgians. I think some of us need to brush up on our geography and histroy. -

Yes it was well worth a mention, seen as she was the head of state of Luxembourg untill 2000. -
