The commercials were advertising the Charmin paper towels, Dick Wilson played "Mr. Whipple" in them for over 30 years. I'm not sure if they were aired outside of the U.S. however, that could explain why you haven't heard of him.

Mr Weatherman's interests (aside from Rune Quest whatever that might be) appear to consist of finding ways to fundamentally irritate me (and presumably others) by posting about 10 irrelevant and childish items to the Deathlist per day. He is very good at this which suggests that he is probably as clever as he says he is. Ok, Mr. Genius, go and find 10 posts by me in the past 2 weeks that were either offending to someone or pointless. err... this one? That post was purely in defense to Notapotato's degrading remarks.

Also, how about Dick Wilson, Mr. Whipple on the "Don't squeeze the Charmin" commercials. He will be 89 this year.

I also thought fats had carked it a while back, at 77 this year, he can't last much longer.

They sound good, however I have no idea why Billy Crystal is your list. I also think that Willie Nelson and Dick Clark have got quite a few years left, especially Willie.

If you would take a minute and look at my posts for once, you would see that I contribute to this forum just as much as you and many others. I have NEVER purposely tried to "Irriatate the Hell" out of you. My posts were nearly 100% productive until you people began to taunt me about my age. I wasn't about to stand and take that kind of crap. The only time that I have produced a possible offending post is when I have been insulted. I have to admit, some of my early posts back in June of 04 were indeed rather vulgar and pointless, however I have changed since then, and I just wish that you could forget those first few posts back in June and accept me as a genuine contributor to this website.

Err, better make that 6 months going by the dates And don't try using the 'I was banned' routine - that was lifted ages ago. Or is it a case of fast typer, slow reader?? The IP address ban was never lifted, We recently switched from a Dial up to a Wireless connection, thus changing the IP address and allowing me to once again contribute to this site.
