I believe the oldest woman in America...and hence the oldest woman in America has died. But as I'm a bit drunk I can't remember her name.

If I might quote Kevin Spacey in one of his greatest roles, "...you gotta be careful, stress is a killer." A little Usual Suspects for the group.

If You Could Only Pick One Celebrity..............

From the other thread it sounds like his health has improved since not having to deal with the Russian mess anymore. -
I saw an article a couple years ago about how wrestler's seemed to die with greater frequency than other performers.

Look at William Rehnquist. He continued to work on the Supreme Court right up to the time he died.

The only time we ever really hear anything about him is when he does something crazy at a parole hearing like show up with a swastika carved into his forehead (I'm aware that it's also a Manji before anyone calls me out on that but let's face it, we know his intent) just so that we can all be satisfied that he's never getting out. Speaking of that though, apparently David Berkowitz - New York's Son of Sam - could be paroled in the not-to-distant-future. Just the fact he could even be paroled is a little amazing. He sort of did a complete 360 in prison though. Isn't he a prison chaplain now or something? Not that I think he should be let out, just makes it more understandable as to why parole may be considered, especially in glaring opposition to Charley Manson. 360? Is he listening to dogs again? That's not going to look good to the parole board.

Henry looks too good to pick for awhile. Nah...makeup can work wonders for anyone. -
I haven't gone through man by man, but there have to be a few that served in a drummer-boy capacity. I still give the nod to the veterans.

With the passing of Coretta Scott King, my thoughts turned to other figures from that era. One who came immediately to mind: Henry Kissinger (saw him on the Daily Show a little while back. Seemed fairly portly for such an elderly guy) -
Someone's Abusing Entropy
Life Begins at 5 o'clock replied to Entropy's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
The problem with the bible is that it is an incomplete account of the formation of the universe. It makes no mention of the noodley appendage. A glaring (dare I say, damning) omission. For the truth, click below: http://www.venganza.org/ -
Has this thread been merged into his thread on the front page?

Does anyone know whether Eichmann's henchman, the one supposedly living in Syria, is still alive?

A little off-season hunting is more widely accepted than you might realize. Really, it's for their own good as their population is ever expanding and their numbers continuely need to be thinned out. Poor creatures would drown in their own waste paper otherwise, truly a terrible way to go.

Guests, A Deathlist Enhancement, Or Detriment?
Life Begins at 5 o'clock replied to Tempus Fugit's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
You know, I voted no, but the more I think about, the more I agree with the people who opted for allowing the Guests to post again. The occassional drive by rant does add some flavor and verity. -
Returning to more important matters however...was Curley's gold real or was it a myth? Was it actually a biting indictment of Consumerism and a call to return to a simpler age? City Slickers II was unacknowledged in its time as a movie of uncompromising depth and artistic elan.

They are VFI...Veterans of a Foreign Iceflow.

Not quite - Republic of China, ie. Taiwan. If he was a former leader of China, the world news would be dominated by his death. Hmmmmm...my bad. But, point of order, China lost a former Premier, Zhao Ziyang, and while he did get an obit in the Washington Post, it didn't dominate world headlines.

Nice work.

Seems like a death-tease to me.

Point of order, writing doesn't indicate health, it's not like being a musician or entertainer. Since it's much more sedentary you can still do it long after your physical prowess has departed. Stephen Hawking is an example.

I don't know that much about him, but intestinal bleeding sounds pretty serious. Perhpas I was a bit hasty in voting for Gerald Ford for #3 on the year.

In a stressful situation and has a weight problem, eh? Perhaps a looker for 07 or 08.

I was looking up supercenturians and stumbled upon this Wiki entry regarding living World War I veterans. According to this there are only 81 from either side left. So I think the odds are better that that WWI veterans will handily outlive the titanic survivors. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surviving_vet...First_World_War

Has anyone heard anything about her?
