DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
Deathray replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
To be fair loo paper isn't essential, it's just much more convenient (debatable that it's actually more hygienic). There's a lot of cultures/places (mainly India and surrounding areas of Asia though) where they use their hand with warm water to wash their backsides out, then wash their hands afterwards. -
With the amount of postponements in this thread you do wonder why they don't play it March to October

Have you only just realised? No. Its on in the background but, last night, it was ridiculously shit, shit and treble shit. Having experienced complete looney syndrome, I think there was some cracking acting on it last night. Yeah it's odd. According to people who've experienced post-partum psychosis she's nailed it but to me the whole thing was just hilarious and you're left wondering how the actors kept a straight face - family members were offended I was pissing myself at it but at the end of the day it's hard to take seriously.

Looking at livestreams of the East Coast snowstorm in America and thinking "I'd like some of that"

What do you drive? Skoda Fabia, Mitsubishi 4x4 pick up and a Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious in the garage. You only live once, right? If you can insure them all why not?

What do you drive?

Looks better than an awful lot of 70-80 year olds.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

Homes under the hammer might be daytime telly but it's awesome -
What an awful word, obitability* surely... *For the avoidance of doubt this is no more a word than the other one. Obit potential would suffice, and is actually English. Away wi yez pedantic shite marra! The drive to find a word for obit potential annoys me here, are we really shortening the process of expressing the sentiment in any significant way by using obitability (a mere 2 charachters less) or obitableness (a mere 1 charachter less)

The prohibitive expense of learning to drive. I'd love to but: Lessons are daftly expensive (in the £15-25 pound an hour balllpark) Insurance on a family members car is daftly expensive I've got to retake my theory test because it's expired. There's a fucking long waiting list for practical test, meaning any driving instructor can use that to string me along. Intensive course are disproportionately expensive in comparison to the standard lessons of the same. And then once I've saved up for years to find all that the price of cars is far too much even second hand and on a street corner insuring the car would cost two to three times that expense because I'm under 21 even with blackbox tracking and passplus (which is another shit tonne of money) the cost of taxing the car is a pain in the arse.

Seems I should have added a bit more or had more thought before I posted earlier My Parents, grandparents, and their siblings all died over 80, the eldest 93. I can't imagine living another 10 let alone 40. And I express my condolence to family, friends, and fans of Motorhead legend Ian Lemmy Kilmeister. I partied with him as well Bollocks. And it's Kilmister. Thanks for the insightful thought provoking reply. I have always liked intelligent conversation. To be fair, Lardy, Lemmy must have partied with loads of people, so some of them are bound to crop up. That's as maybe, and I wouldn't disagree that Lemmy probably rocked it with a trillion people, but whenever anyone's first line of a conversation is 'oh yeh, I've partied with loads of famous dudes and shagged birds till my cock fell off' then I call bullshit. Four yorkshiremen came to mind reading alias undeads post to be frank

NO. Why not she epitomises the Clive Dunn spirit in won't die and has been playing very old for nearly half-a-century? -
What? I think I neglected to put Sim as dead on my master database after all that in-out-in-out shake-it-all-about regarding his death! Edwards will be sorted in the next update. One less newbie to write up... In further regards to Sims, he was in my team last year - will a historical correction be issued with my sub Colin Edwynn who thankfully didn't die replacing him?

Despite being a relative youngster I have no fear of my own death - I believe death to be another chapter in our journey - not in the religious sense, or even a spiritual one, but in a practical sense and if it isn't I'm reasonably with happy with how life's gone so far. What I actually fear is the effect my passing would have on closest family members and friends and for that reason I'd hope to outlive them and struggle with letting new people into my life in a close sense. I also utterly dread the eventuality in which a family member actually dies - at the age of 20 I'm very very lucky not to have had this experience in the close family sense yet (my grandparents died when I was too young to remember events, and family who have passed on since then have been very extended and not well known to me) - I don't have a point of reference or blueprint on how to handle such a situation and feel like I'd be unable to deal with it on both the practical and emotional front. Despite the near certainty that I will have to deal with this situation at some point (although, I hope not for many many years) I'd be incapable.
