Mainly how utterly ridiculous some uk constituency names are!?
-
I'd need to be 105- bit of a stretch.
-
Bloody hell - looks like me and Predictor are no longer the young'uns round here! I'd like to go at the respectable age of 90 in 2086. I don't smoke, I don't drink regularly and I walk and wank regularly bit which are both meant to prolong your life - my shitty diet might knock it down to 2066 aged 70 though.

Political Discussions And Ranting Thread

Has absolutely no chance of being on the ballot - even then he'll be a paper candidate. -
The queen will live to at least 110. Outliving Charles and Philip and possibly Andrew.

lowest average age of death? Highest mortality rate?

The important bit of this article(http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/ve-day-dame-vera-lynn-5664876) for our purposes:

Dennis Healey again.
-
Most of them are derived from silly place names though...

That's right just give away your tactics like a free sample of PG Tips. I've already submitted my not entirely serious team. Another tip is look at those staying behind during the Queens Speech, some may be doing it to save health rather than due to anti-monarchists and anti-house of lords sentiment, although good luck finding them amid the hoard of SNP, Lib Dem, Irish Nats Green and backbench Labourites

If you want to do some form studying watch the swearing in of the oath, you might see the odd doddery old cunt you've never heard of for this.
-
That's weird. If you can post here, you should be able to post anywhere on the forum. It's on a mobile so I have no idea how you find out the network ip address, i doubt it's an old one. The error's: Bad Request Your Browser sent a request the server could not understand. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. I only get it on this site, and I only get it when browsing through on the phone with mobile data (rather than connected to a wifi network.)

You been banning mobile networks again, can't access on my phone unless connected to Wifi? (Vodafone btw, judge away)

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?
Deathray replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
if you liked Happy Valley I'd suggest digging out Line of Duty on boxset - both series; it's imho the best BBC show since Spooks. -

Even my mum won't watch that and she loves all that shit. The first series was a lot better. -
I don't know if he is smart enough to realize that even if the death penalty is brought back, it would not benefit him (since international law prohibits retroactive application of stricter punishments to the disadvantage of the sentenced). Well, if he commits another murder after the death penatly is reintroduced, he could still be executed, but it's extremely unlikely given his age (77) and general state of health. I guess he supports UKIP just because he's dumb and xenophobic. Given he personally wants it could it be posed as to his advantage?
-
Aye, but that story is fairly non-specific on who the alleged fraudsters might be. There were allegations of intimidation by UKIP at the polling station, so - does anyone know - are they the ones suspected of fraud. Fraud inquiry closed. http://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/577149/South-Thanet-election-fraud-investigation-closed UKIP however have admitted that they used espionage techniques against political opponents in the campaign, presumably illegal, no? That depends on which espionage techniques. Important ones, like reading their political writing or observing opponents from the public road or at meetings are perfectly legal. Infiltration and incitement to commit crimes. Not been paying too much attention to this. It isn't illegal to join someone else's party and report back to your own (though only a bit of a twat would enjoy the thrill of that, surely), but what crimes were incited, and were they committed? vandalism.

I accept your entry but I will need at least one other name as Sally Bercow may be many things but not a sitting MP. Yvette Cooper's in twice, too. Oh bugger. Can I bring Tim Farron in as a substitute.
-
You should be apologising to xtc for butchering their lyrics. Dear God. I hope you got the letter. And, I pray you can make it better down here.

I accept your entry but I will need at least one other name as Sally Bercow may be many things but not a sitting MP. There's a good joke in there somewhere but potentially libellous. "But she may be found sitting on a current MP!"?
-
I accept your entry but I will need at least one other name as Sally Bercow may be many things but not a sitting MP. Oh, don't know why I thought she was. You're pushing my limits of MPs I can name off the top of me head now; Liz Kendall. There we go.

@rockhopper - John Boakes, UKIP Candidate in Thirsk and Malton died during the GE campaign in 2010 and delayed the election by a couple of weeks. Don't have time for serious research, so here's the first 30 members of parliament I can think of without resorting to google (I tried doing this with constituencies but could only muster up 20). Dennis Skinner Jacob Rees-Mogg Zac Goldsmith (resigned and lost seat in by-election, 2016) Chris Bryant Yvette Cooper Ed Miliband Gerald Kaufman Angus Robertson Mahri Black David Davis Tristram Hunt (resigned 2017 - by-election forthcoming) Mary Creagh Theresa May Ronnie Campbell Sharon Hodgson David Anderson Liam Byrne Phillip Hammond Boris Johnson Nadine Dorries Nicholas Soames Jeremy Corbyn Stephen Kinnock Hilary Benn Margaret Hodge Norman Lamb Eric Pickles Liz Kendall John Bercow Tim Farron
