I believe Buzz Osborne counts as major, let alone major grunge band singer.
-
The mother is still alive though.

Mark Arm, John Robinson (The Fluid), Mark Lanegan, John Bigley, Tad Doyle, Michael Anderson (Blood Circus), David Emmanuel Duet, Courtney Love. Robert Roth, Shawn Smith, I can go on...

Was there anything special in 1991 that made people think Beenhakker would die?
-
All three of them?
-
I think Mudhoney are clean too.

So where are we posting actor deaths again?
-
Well, I do too, and their fanbase is pretty vast I believe. Sad stuff indeed, also not so long after The Chameleons and Inspiral Carpets have lost a drummer too, not a great year for this scene. And i'm afraid there will be more. Robert Grey maybe?
-
Errol Christie seems likely
-
Shame, he was my favorite Sonic Youth cover art model.

Keith Mitchell, (former) drummer of Mazzy Star, has been confirmed dead by the band in their Facebook page. EDIT: Rolling Stone mag now reporting http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/mazzy-star-drummer-keith-mitchell-dead-w482297

http://variety.com/2015/film/news/russell-wolfe-dead-dies-gods-not-dead-1201508419/ According to this he was diagnosed during the film’s release (which is in March 2014) and passed away in May 2015.
-
I think the average is 5 years from early initial diagnosis.
-
Old news really, but I agree that ALS can be unpredictable. A famous Israeli sportscaster has died from it a few months after revealing he has it (and a year and a half after diagnosis) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meir_Einstein

Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe 'not asleep just resting his eyes' and 'cannot suffer bright lights'. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-39881955?ocid=socialflow_facebook&ns_mchannel=social&ns_campaign=bbcnews&ns_source=facebook As for the breath cessation? Allergy for bullc**p of course.

I think this thread has potential, on the other hand a Tarantino-Rodriguez centered thread is also plausible.
-
Michael Parks has died. Wouldn't call him a 'star' of Twin Peaks in any way, but he had his moments in the second season.
-
I thought Albania was pretty great, it really stood out and I was completely blown away by their performance. Definitely superior to the generic sub-par song which is the Greek entry, or the Polish one for that matter.

"Rob & Big" "star" Christopher “Big Black” Boykin has died at 45.
-
Yep, so is 2012 and 2014. On the other hand 2011 was at 4/50 and ended up with 7 hits. You can't find a pattern in this business.
