I agree! He walked in, looking much stronger than I expected. She shuffled in and is looking very hunched. -
Ding dong Leslie Phillips!

George Bush Snr Hits are on or near multiples of 5, so I'm going for him over Carter.

Fancy a giggle? https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/royal-staff-act-swiftly-overnight-12919527 A stupid article about a dog bowl but look at the photos of Queenie and Trump. She does not smile once! Even in the official photo with the two jokers either side of her. However, look at the difference when meeting the Belgium royals... Queenie is grinning from ear to ear!

I totally agree! I love the Royal Family and I think the Queen is great, but her insistence to keep her vow of 'working til death' is worrying. She has given a lifetime of work to our country and deserves a good rest in retirement. Despite the guilded life, she does work every day, on state paperwork and yet is never allowed to show emotion or opinion. I think the way that lots of things about the R F are never confirmed or denied, leaves people in a constant state of speculation. For all we know, one of them could have a terminal illness. Also, I'm one of those people who loves to know news first... which means when she does go I will be at work, nowhere near my phone and I'll find out hours later.

I just saw this was a story when looking at the front pages of the papers on the BBC website (and zooming in). The story appears to have a bit more detail in the Sunday Times but their website is behind a pay wall. They are emphasising that actual ministers from all 4 nations were meeting (rather than just officials as in previous meetings) and going into specifics, such as when, during the 10 days of National mourning, the prime minister should make statements. It does appear that things have been hurried along. More interestingly, I have just heard about the Queen falling ill this week and I tend to follow all things royal. I've read lots of (non)stories about the younger members of the family...were these stories put out to distract others?!

I just watched the birthday concert on BBC 1 despite some interesting choices of performers (Shaggy singing Mr Boombastic and Craig David singing 7 days!!) It was interesting to watch Queenie stumble on to the stage and back. I know she's 92 but appeared much more frail and heavily made up than before. Looking very worrying!

I did think that as well, especially on Christmas Day. The fact that she was too sick to travel in a first class train coach to her other house. She was apparently whisked off to said house by helicopter (unseen). On Christmas morning, the pictures showed Charles leading, follows by Camilla, then Phillip, on their way to church. Then the BBC news reporters seemed to over-stress, when discussing her Christmas speech, that it was pre-recorded. Surely if she is well enough to host a load of people for Christmas Day, she would be well enough to be driven to church and sit there for 30 mins?

Too frail to go to Buckingham Palace to collect award... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3712842/She-voice-hope-Original-Forces-sweetheart-Dame-Vera-Lynn-99-receives-Queen-s-honour-eight-decades-service-ceremony-home.html

Too ill to attend his wife's birthday party. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3624824/Bruce-Forsyth-88-sparks-health-concerns-revealed-ill-attend-wife-Wilnelia-s-birthday-party.html 2 things here... Firstly, it doesn't sound as if it's her 60th birthday (if the daily fail are ageing her correctly, it will be her 59th birthday) and is having a party and letting the world know your husband is too ill to attend, the best thing to do right now? Surely you would not want to draw attention to his continued illness? Secondly, it says he is too ill to leave the house. WTF does that mean? Can't walk a few steps? Unable to stay awake for more than an hour? Wouldn't he be able to sit at the party somewhere for a couple of hours? Seems odd.

Actually, I think this announcement is quite interesting. His secretaries know how many events he's done and how many he's got coming up. If they believed that it was going to be too much for him, then they wouldn't have agreed to him attending in the first place. Now to cancel is one thing (apparently Anne was already going anyway) but to publicly announce that he isn't going based on medical advice is another thing. They could have just said that he was resting before more events later in the week/month. -
Interesting... what kind of false truth will they come up with?http://blindgossip.com/?p=77967

And when the Dawlish part of the line crumbles (again) and there is a crash on the A38, we are stuck here!
