James the murderfox??? I will stick with the grim reaper- it isn't wise to tamper with a winning formula!! -

May it bring much joy and merriment to the Deadpooling ecosystem as well as obviously much insight and wisdom! Long live the enema!! Now be a good time to mention that I'm getting strong vibes and feelings in my gut again. Some very significant famous deaths in the next 5 -6 days. Big or much talked about names on here or in their fields. Something is brewing. Not neccesarily official DeathList deaths but could also some of them. -

You might regret encouraging me!! -
Yes I remember and I should have listened to you and took it on board fully! I did sort of try to heed the advice of @YoungWillz about picking some names again and retaining them to avoid them going as misses on list of the lost and your advice that some of my unique picks are extremely unlikely to be picked up by other players. Hence the reinclusion of June Kenton, Alison Halford, Susan Howard etc but I clearly did not go far enough! I just hope the enema doesn't do what it did last year and rub my nose in it by killing of lots of my drops and putting them in the list of the lost hall of fame!

Arrrgh Delighted but oh so near so far too!! 59 Unique picks!!! Just one of sealing the deal of a complete set! Lorraine Gary, actress from the JAWS film franchise was my undoing!! But having said that 59 out of 60 is excellent and it is one up on last year when I got 58 unique picks! Best of luck everybody! Just a quick look through has established if Id kept Elspeth Ballantyne I would have had 60 uniques. I was convinced once I used her name and let the cat out of the bag shed never be unique again! Drat lol!

Yes I am the same.I recall a few years back being astonished that Christina Crawford, James Lovelock and the former Archbishop of Canterbury George Carey were all unique picks! i strive for uniques , as many as possible .Ideally 60 but I dont take shortcuts and I have never had a name rejected by the game runners.By not taking shortcuts I mean I dont just go for lots of young healthy but famous people who are unlikely to be picked eg reality tv stars in order to garner 60 uniques. I wouldnt want to achieve a high level of unique picks by going against the spirit of the game. The handful of young picks I have made there have been a reason for it.Eg Ex Big Brother contestant Charlie Drummond. Young in his 30s yes but had a history of poor and rash decision making and had been to jail for violence.Statistically people who get involved in that part of life are more likely to succumb to premature death via substance misuse or the like. Wont go into all the details but I dont go for young ish picks without a reason .Ditto Scott Madsen struggling for money and jailed for fraud.

My apologies .I mistakenly thought you had left this year as I recalled seeing a post were you asked for a replacement.I clearly misunderstood.Thank you to you too for your dedication and passionate work and efforts. You have been and are fantastic.

Thanks for all your hard work @Death Impends @Banana and @Grim Up North I am full of appreciation and respect how much work, time, energy and passion you put into setting this up, running it and making it the amazing enjoyable success that it is. I take my hat of to you all. Looking forward to seeing the 2024 Website unveiling in the near future and especially excited to see how many unique picks out of my 60 names I have managed.

I'm 100% sure Death Impends will rise to the challenge and I hope to keep them similarly busy with quirky DDP obituaries this year to make up for the drought of Crumble successes last year!

You have undeniably been right all along on this. Even I wouldn't have expected such an impressive result within the first 8 days of the year and I think a 4th hit before the end of January is extreme likely. -

Put on your seat belt it is going to be a bumpy ride. Disposable medical gloves recommended also as they are most useful when an enema is doing the business. Pretty sh***y really. -
Reverted back to being faithful to Joanne Woodward
-
Which makes my prediction of at least 28 deaths rather modest....
-
The committee really has its finger on the pulse this year. 3 'hits' in 8 days is undeniably impressive and from their point of view an incredibly successful start to the deadpooling year.

3 official Deathlist hits in 8 days. The enema ain't f*****g around. I cannot see anything but a record year for the Deathlist and DDP . 2024 is going to be one heck of a year. -
Count me in please!
