Now I remember her quite well! She used to appear a lot in channel 5 style royal documentaries dispensing her wisdom and insight! A rather colourful character and raconteur!

Who will win the 2020 US Presidential Election?

I wonder why gay men such as myself are disproportionately represented on this board and interested in death, deathlisting and deadpooling? -

Perfectly summarized! -
Its mainly the combination of his age, coronavirus and the deteriorating situation in France that has put him on my radar. You could well be right though.

Unrequited Love / Secret Crush
Gooseberry Crumble replied to Exu's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Decent choice but for crushes on movie actors who were also hugely successful in vintage television I find the very masculine, strong, brooding Bruce Willis hard to beat. A beautiful expression of walking breathing Cocky testosterone -
Unrequited Love / Secret Crush

I must confess to not being able to place him in my mind ie visualise what he looks like! So I will now use Google images to sample his delights! -
True enough. But those 3 names I mentioned would be in addition to any further deaths that occur this year thus setting a new high record. Anyway whats done is done .Do you have any particular names in mind for the remainder of the year? For me Joanne Woodward, both Bobs Dole and Barker as well as Pierre Cardin especially come to the fore of my mind.

I genuinely don't like making criticisms of the committee, my posting history illustrates that. (Afterall they provide this website for all of us)But it is frustrating that if they hadn't of so foolishly dropped/ not included Jill Gascoigne, Little Richard and Sean Connery on this years list then we would now have broken the 2017 record.

An absolute movie legend. Iconic as Bond.No offence to the other actors but he is the definitive Bond . RIP. The end of an era. My first thoughts when I saw the sad news headlining on Sky News breaking news ticker were James Bond has died and that is 'hit' number 16 for the committee. Before I quickly remembered he wasn't on this years list. Sean Connery was also my first crush as a boy which pretty much 100% confirmed to me I was gay.No ambiguity at all.The crush was strong and overwhelming.

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2020 List

If the committee had kept Jill Gascoigne and Little Richard on the list we would have equalled the record year of 2017 today. -

Great research thank you! That will hopefully soon be 684 when Alan Stephenson Boyd gets a qualifying obituary as a unique 'hit' for me. Those numbers are staggering and although there are only two months to go I think we can expect, when we take into account the time of year and covid and its direct and indirect effects, that figure to top 800 by the end of the year. That is my prediction anyway. Just realised earlier that Covid has broken up or taken away one half of two legendary British comedy double acts. Eddie Large of Little and Large and Bobby Ball of Cannon and Ball. Very sad. -
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/ap/article-8866303/James-Randi-dazzling-magician-skeptic-dies-92.html James Randi is a 'hit' for me in this pool.

Oh for me that interview is iconic and historic even above and beyond Michael Jackson .Not necessarily because it's the most interesting or entertaining but in terms of its importance ,significance and the consequences that flowed from it. It was that interview that prompted the Queen to write to Prince Charles and Princess Diana and basically say enough and order them to divorce.
