Interesting ..Good detective work. Not that she is on this years deathlist but I personally thought it possibly significant that Raquel Welch didn't seem to put anything up for her 80th birthday last month. At least last time I looked. There could be a number of explanations for that including vanity but It struck me as noteworthy. Her younger sister died earlier this year .So whilst Raquels mother lived until her nineties its not necessarily a case of like mother like daughter.

Question for @Joey Russ and anyone else from the USA or knowledgeable about american politics. If Bob Dole were to pass away before election day do you think would it have any significant effect on how people vote? By this I mean would an old style old school more genteel traditional Republican like Bob Dole passing away have the effect in a significant minority of voters of 1) Evoking a sentimental attachment , memory and fondness to a pre Trump or even Pre Bush Junior Republican party and cause them to vote in part for emotional reasons for a Republican president despite Trump but rather out of renewed affection for the party 2) Evoke fond good memories and feelings of a Pre Trump Republican party when Bob Dole was a much more active figure in the party and feel so appalled by the contrast of todays Republican party with that of the Republican party 20 ,30,40 plus years ago that they don't vote for a Republican president. 3) No discernible or likely impact at all
