https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-8471477/Love-Islands-Cara-La-Hoyde-welcomes-baby-girl-husband-Nathan-Massey.html The winners of the 2016 UK series of reality TV series Love Island ,Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde who went on to marry becoming one of only a handful of couples to last from the show long term - have announced the birth of their second child. I have a feeling that @Toast especially will feel pleased to hear this news as I rather suspect that discreetly on the quiet she is a fan of Love Island and watches eagerly the twists and turns , the fun and frocks, the love and lust every year. Toast is one of those older women like so many others I have talked with who secretly eye up the hunky male talent when watching it and taking note which of the guys gives her the happiest warmest glow and tingle in her nether regions is my strong belief!

I'm trying to think in terms of being a big and kind of unexpected death what could be the big headline death. Obviously Jimmy Carter or Prince Philip would be headliners bit I'm using 2016 as my template eg George Michael, David Bowie, in terms of big unexpected or shock deaths. Who would be iconic and significant enough in your eyes? Liza Minnelli?Madonna? Kylie Minogue?Sharon Osbourne? Mick Jagger? Simon Cowell? Johnny Depp? I would have thought in terms of the UK that Caroline Flack could arguably be said to be the big headline death this year?

The husband of the Queens favourite cousin Princess Alexandra, Sir Angus Ogilvy died in 2004 . He was the husband of a royal and was certainly regarded as family by the Queen. But whether that is technically a royal death I don't know . But the Queens much loved Aunt HRH Alice the dowager duchess of Gloucester died in 2004 also aged near 103. So whilst not a big royal death like more senior or prominent members like the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret Alices passing was definitely a royal deathdeath-Row the last one was 2004 not 2002. I think the royal death most likely to happen this year is Prince Philip but it is worth keeping an eye on some of the Queens cousins and their spouses. 83 year old Princess Alexandra who had a fall last year and the stroke survivor the Duke of Kent and his wife the Duchess of Kent who is 87 ,frail looking and has a history of health issues.

Yes indeed it does. Gives me a slightly benign spooky strange feeling reading it again. As @msc said I think Nobby Stiles needs to watch out.

    The 13th Death of 2020

I have gone for Joanne Woodward. Shes not mentioned much on here and I am getting similar vibes around Joanne as I said I was getting around Honor Blackman in the weeks and months leading up to her death.

    Olivia De Havilland

No British. I'm aware she was born in Tokyo to british parents but she is british nationality If her nationality was japanese then she wouldn't have been able to be made a Dame by the Queen.

    Olivia De Havilland

The extremely unusual ,unique ahd semi baffling thing about Olivia de Havillands passing is the reaction. Few people of that age would receive any reactions of shock at the news of their death. Not so with Olivia as this forum illustrates. She was a real phenomenon.

I agree. At the peak of the first wave the deaths of people like Honor Blackman and Stirling Moss only got a fraction of the media coverage they would have got in normal times. I do believe 2020 is going to be 'bigger' in terms of celebrity deaths in general and the deathlist than 2016.

Oh of course I am not using shits as a moral term or description of moral status ! I thought she was fabulous. I love films from that Hollywood era.

You now have your answer with Dame Olivia de Havilland. Is this the first year every month as far as July has had at least one deathlist hit? The enema is not fu****g around folks! Kirk Douglas, Olivia de Havilland , Stirling Moss and Vera Lynn all in the same year! Respect the power of the enema!
