An interesting observation. His passing may not have happened in the timeframe that your hunch suspected but If Ingham was aware of some developments in his own health that lead him to feel he was quite time limited and thus wanted to bury hatchets? Then your point would definitely still stand and it could be a case of definitely watch this space!

If it did kill conservatives I wouldn't put it past him to bury the bad news!

    Betty White

I would be very relieved and nerves to drop her from the list. Shes a big name and it would be just the committees luck for her to be another Jill Gascoigne were taking her off the list proves to be a big mistake. Maybe if she was in her early nineties it would be worth the risk. But not now in my opinion.

What Are You Listening To Right Now?

Rotating between listening to Ariana Grande No tears left to cry on a major repeat loop and and liverpool group The Tea Street band and their various albums on Spotify. The first for a dose of heightened emotion and the latter to chill in the most mellow way.

Oh no rush at all! Please rest your eyes and then test they have fully recovered by going for a car drive to a nice scenic spot before attempting anything more! I would feel bad if you didnt take care and check your fitness and wellbeing in such a way before you attempted anything.

Wow wasn't he mentioned on here only very recently in a discussion if his death would get a mention in the media and a qualifying obituary?

I have given you my answer. I simply do not agree with and do not think it warrants a high level of fuss.Especially as it is something I do intermittently and not Daily and often not weekly. Infact there have been times were I have not done it for a month. You are presenting a solution to me because you see a problem. I don't see a problem so therefore do not see a need for a solution. I also think it is sensible and fine for me to acknowledge Jane Fonda Birthday in the Jane Fonda thread, Raquel Welchs Birthday in the Raquel Welch thread. Many of my Birthday posts are not in genre threads but threads dedicated to that particular person. I do not object to a Birthday thread but nor do I especially see the point in one so if someone sets one up I am not going to commit to keeping all my Birthday posts in it. I always assume when a thread has a new post that it either a health or welfare change, some general news on a specific person, their death or their Birthday. It doesn't bother me in the slightest what it turns out to be when I click on the thread and I can't understand why it bothers anyone else. There are lots of posts on this forum that are not my cup of tea but I just accept each to their own. There is no offence or breach in anything I post especially with regards to birthdays like I said I have never been given a warning. This is simply a question of learning to live and let live and a difference of opinion or preference on a rather trivial and small aspect of forum activity. I'm afraid we are not going to agree . I think you are an excellent and extremely likeable poster but I simply do not agree with you.

Speaking of Prime Ministers parents am I right in thinking that Boris Johnsons mother is in poor health?

    Boris Johnson

Utterly bizarre. It seemed to me that yesterday Boris Johnson virtually committed political suicide on national television. I can't see him recovering from this spending of political capital.

Hopefully it won't be for a long time yet but Anita Dobson will be one hell of a rich widow when the time does come.

I have given you my answer. Quite a few people give the posts likes so your opinion is obviously not universally shared. Perhaps you need to consider whether it is really worth expending energy on getting pissed off? In any thread you never know if it's going to be a post with news of a death, health decline or chit chat and banter. That creates an element of anticipation and as any tart worthy of the name will tell you anticipation is half the thrill! I couldn't be clearer that I think you are making a mountain out of a molehill and that there is no point in other posters telling me what to do as I dont dance or jump to other peoples tunes like that. You have stated your opinion and I have stated mine. I have never received warnings on here for my behaviour and I have never abused other posters. I simply have a different point of view to you and whoever else on this point.

Sorry but no I think you are being silly. I never try to tell other posters were to post and what. I have also made my views and feelings known before on this so there will not be any increased success in chastising me frequently for what amounts to a difference of preference of no major consequence.
