Bit of a strange development in Manchester tonight.Wasnt sure were to put it so choose here until I can think of a more specific thread for 'strange or unusual circumstances around deaths ' Three bodies found inside coffins in a house that was being run as a funeral parlour. Looks like a possibility dead bodies may have been' used' several times for fraudulent purposes.

It is the synergy of milking a vulgar metaphor for all it is worth combined with a timely prediction of how significant 2020 is likely to be! -
It would really only because handful of cases a year at most .I'm an avid consumer of news and I haven't heard of it very often.Admittely it is more frequent than police officers being murdered on duty. One thing as a big consumer of news that I have noticed is more common than police officers dying on duty is police officers being sacked and more often convicted and jailed for having sex with or being sexually inappropriate with female members of the public including vulnerable domestic violence victims whilst either on duty or harassing them after they have used their job to get their contact details! I have no idea if there is a lot of that in the USA but there seems to be in the UK.

Gosh that was an interesting read thanks.Obviously very sad but interesting dynamics to that particular incident.

No but police officers dying on duty is very rare in the UK especially in a car crash or accident and thus noteworthy.

Well yes but a lot of the people on the list no doubt have contact with carers and health workers whether at home or in a care home or hospital setting. Kirk Douglas has been seen with carers wheeling him around, Leslie Phillips, Bob Dole, Genesis P orridge ,Vera Lynn,Prunella Scales,Joanne Woodward, Tom Smith, Stirling Moss and Willie Nelson are all almost certainly either having regular contact with care workers or health/ hospital workers. In terms of the deathlist and this virus I just dont see that many of them being able to go into total lockdown and thus being protected from it. -
I have no idea to be honest !I've only just stumbled across the guy for the first time this evening when someone retweeted the sad news.
