It is reported that Ch1tkey, who was 21 years old, is believed to have died while performing a social media challenge. He had allegedly promised his social media followers that he would jump off the edge of the roof if a task he set was completed. Back in 1995 or so I was given a red crab beanie baby because I’m a Cancer (save the remarks). My soon to be ex expressed liking it, and so I said sure take it (on her way out the door). Around a couple years later when the beanie baby boom really took off, I discovered my crab was one of the original 9 beanie babies, “Digger”, and was valued at $900 US. To be fair, I’m certain she had zero knowledge of the value either, it was just cute.
