Former Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Bob Skoronski has died at age 84. He played with the Packers during the 1960s under Coach Vince Lombardi. Skoronski pro football career started in 1956 when the Packers drafted the offensive tackle out of Indiana University in the fifth round. He not only captained the Packers' Super Bowl championship teams in the '60s, but he was a Pro Bowl selection in 1966 and earned himself a spot in both the Green Bay Hall of Fame (1976) and on the Packers' all-time Modern Era Team. Former WGME (Portland, OR) reporter and news anchor Doug Rafferty died in Hawaii, according to the Portland television station. Rafferty, a longtime anchor at the CBS affiliate, died eight hours after arriving in Hawaii to visit his daughter. He was 66. So far today we have learned do not go out of your element -- don't visit New Orleans or Hawaii if you can't assimilate quickly! SC

I really should make a thread for The Big Easy--shit that goes down in New Orleans. Always something.... Lesson 1: Don't bring your pansy-arse stomach to N'awlins and then eat local fare. Stick to the elk and lutefisk you are accustomed to. Lesson 2: Did you really come to the land of voodoo around Halloween and not expect something like this to happen? Lesson 3: When you least expect the gris gris, expect it. A former North Dakota state lawmaker died today after contracting a bacterial infection from eating raw oysters while visiting New Orleans. Fifty-eight-year-old Rae Ann Kelsch died in a New Orleans hospital on October 30, days after contracting the infection. Kelsch, who served in the North Dakota state House from 1991 to 2012, was in New Orleans to visit her niece and nephew. SC

SC's NOV '18 team 1. Dilip Kumar (Rumours of his recovery are premature) 2. Georges Loinger (He looks 10 years older than he is, which is hard to do at 107) 3. Violetta Chamorro 4. Glenn Hoddle 5. Le Duc Anh I was certain Abercrombie would be a hit last month, but the kid looks like he is 'recovering' (being moved to a facility that deals with head trauma, but that's improvement), and good for him, hope he can lead a normal life.

Death Race 2019 Form Guide #10: Cardinal (Ret.) Roger Etchegaray After retiring from the third highest post in the Vatican a couple years ago, a place where he had twice fallen and broken his leg (most recently at 93 years old), Cardinal Roger found himself living in a Catholic retirement home in France with his beloved sister, herself a retired nun. Unfortunately the Reaper's aim was off a wee bit and when he went after 'Etchegaray', and it was Roger's sister who found the touch of death earlier this year, leaving Roger cold, naked and afraid. If his aim is better, it won't be a mamby pamby broken leg this time for Etchegaray. When the Reaper wants you, he get's you. That's the cardinal rule.

I had forgotten about that....it was one of my favourites. -
That's 3 members of Molly Hatchet in about 18 months. Drugs much? Edit: Noting that I saw MH in I believe Summer of 1982, so Farrar may well have been the vocalist at that time. Also noting I will now be labeled, so please note that I went to see Rainbow/Blackmore and MH was tagging along. SC

Butler High School in North Carolina. Sounds like it was a single shooter with a single target, probably an argument. So nothing to see here -
Hey my new friend.... it is important that we post the name of the person (Richard Gill) so that we can search said name at a later time. Just an FYI.

That whore doesn't attend church.

Wasn't there a dr in Australia earlier this year who was 104, flew to Switzerland and had an inquest to his mental fitness, which was found to be quite acute? Maybe Lusk thinking the same thing!

I'm Oh-For-HoweverMany on using Hindus on my lists and expecting QOs. I'm to the point they are all nobodies as far as UK media is concerned (as well they should be). This is an absolutely great name for 5-4-3-2-1 DP upcoming entry, but ask someone who was actually prominent (ND Tiwari) how that QO search is going.... I'll pass. GL to those who use him. SC

Last two posts absolute nobodies. No one sets the bar lower than aog. 20000 paintings sounds like the guy who draws characatuers at the carnival for $10 U.S. or does face painting on children at the same. Cmon man.....

The drummer rests in an unmarked grave (as per Wiki). If I lived over there I'd drum up (a-hem) some of you to donate a few quid and get him a right proper headstone. I'm quite serious about that, I find it appalling. If you know of someone over here in the States what needs a headstone I'll go put a cross on it and the DL website symbol as a gesture and take a photo to post. Course when someone in the press gets ahold of the cross/skull thing, it'll go viral 'a cult is about!" SC -
Death Race 2019 Form Guide #7 -- GLADYS KNIGHT Gladys Knight is suffering from an ailment or two. At the funeral for Aretha Franklin, Knight came out of the shadows and informed the public she too was suffering from the same disease (pancreatic cancer) that took down The Queen of Soul. After the media ran with that, some clarification was necessary, and Gladys would say 'when I said we shared the same disease, I meant cancer'. Stage 1 breast cancer. Apparently that is on par with pancreatic cancer, cher Knight! So if her raging stage 1 cancer doesn't take her down, maybe her Foot-In-Mouth Disease will do the deed. Neither One Of Us...wants to be the first to say goodbye...to Gladys Knight, unless you are the lucky person who has her in Death Race 2019!
