I guess NFL quarterbacks have a knack of getting past that threshold but how far? John Brodie and Bart Starr both had the same Mexican stem cell treatment. Brodie is years younger so perhaps a bad example, though seeing him get on to 2020 could be spotty. Bart Starr (who should have died earlier this year), borrowed time is all I can say. Will be disappointed when (not if but when) the Committee eschews Starr in 2019. He's a huge name, seems DLy, but we all know U.S. sports stars aren't in the wheelhouse. Alas. SC

You Spin Me Round (Like a record) - Dead or Alive -
Russ Gibb, Detroit disc jockey and guy who spawned the Paul is Dead nonsense, was presumably b.1931 (87 yrs old), though at least one other source pegs him 3 years younger. He ain't getting any younger (unless you use the other source lol). SC

Signs ?? - Five Man Electrical Band (the big banner asking how many songs do we see). Maybe a stretch. Really surprised one of those clocks isn't Two Minutes to Midnight. Fool on the Hill (another stretch, the question mark sits on the hill) Heaven - Psychedelic Furs Green Shirt - Elvis Costello Lady in Red (this covers the purposeful red dress) - Chris de Burgh -

Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper Interesting they didn't have the 'Devil in the Blue Dress'. So must be red for a reason. that seems an easy miss. Do we have a title indicating the red dress? I'm most certain the songs are supposed to be uber popular. The following seem like a stretch: This House is on Fire - AC/DC Hit Rock Bottom - The Dandy Warholls Purple Hills - D-12 Wings - Birdy Steetcar - Funeral for a Friend Yellow Walls - Jackson C. Frank Empty Spaces - Pink Floyd (Edit -- well, after seeing master list at least I was right about none of these being included lol) -

Time - Pink Floyd Crocodile Rock - Sir Elton John Waterfalls - TLC Evergreen - Barbara Streisand (outside the scope perhaps?) Fire - (Ohio Players, Arthur Brown, Pointer Sisters pick one) Reflections - The Supremes Well I gave it 10 minutes. hope that helps your march toward 60 Edit - had to strike the Chicago tune, I am wrong. However could be a title somewhere using the times on those clocks. -

As we are told -- the alternative is worse. Or is it? Sorry to hear this is Wickens' future.

Oh no..... that sucks. I met him and had a right lovely conversation with the man about hockey, sports law, etc. A very nice and accommodating individual, little pretense whatsoever, given his stature. RIP SirC

dead Sinéad O'Connor aka Shuhada' Davitt
Sir Creep replied to Spade_Cooley's topic in DeathList Forum
OK seems as good a place as any, maybe someone can learn me sumptin. Why is it when one converts to Islam they need a new fucking name? Can't I be Sir Thomas Tinkleberry and follow Islamic worship? There's no such thing as 'Christian' names so that argument fails upon inception. If by Christian name you mean I don't have to 'hock a loogie' to get the pronunciation out, then I'll stick with Sir Creep. Anyway, if your religion demands you change your name to be a part of it, you may want to review the characteristics of a 'cult'. (yes I know many think all religion is, please humour me and leave that out of it). SC -

He was the former mayor of Deadwood. Seemed worth noting. Seemed more important in fact.

One of my cousins is involved as well. It's a family affair haha. We only have about 16 people total and hey, I'm actually not winning this year (so far -- 3rd place).

It's BS that firefighters don't have a thread with policemen, rather coppers are with attorneys and judges in Law and Order which makes zero sense outside of TV for TV lemmings. Cops and firefighters. Whatever, rant over. Surely not starting a thread. James Ginty was a firefighter and the founder of the FDNY Emerald Society Pipes and Drums, an ancient tradition that brought unity to the rank and file. "It’s amazing that across the U.S. you cannot imagine a fire department without a bag and pipe band," said retired FDNY firefighter and original band member Ed McLoughlin, 90, of Westbury. "That all came from New York City and that is Jimmy’s legacy." Ginty died Oct. 15. He was 84. SC

My sister has had him on her DP team for two years running. She figured the stress of his latest score would take him down. LOL. Hey, maybe too much foresight but she's onto something. SC

You seem self assured of a QO. Not sure water walkers are as dockable in DDP as you presume. Who is she? And I only ask in comparison to Hilda Hanson, who was closer to home, had a write-up not a year earlier, and was of utmost public interest and uniqueness, but clearly didn't obit or presumably come very close, much to my chagrin. Hanson is at the very least Mandamin's contemporary in the eyes of the BBC etc. Goodness knows I may be wrong, as I'm 1000s of miles away, but that's how I see it. SC Also -- provide a link or she's healthy.

They went with 'pioneer' over 'legend' this time.

It's so sad when you post something that is quite amusing and no one can keep up. All I can do is try again.
