What Are You Listening To Right Now?
Sir Creep replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Doing nothing at the oil rig today, so chillin to an album that was released 20 years ago. Music like this should never be forgotten. As my DJ cousin over on your side of The Pond said: "Respect to a shape-shifting album, moving away from so-called #triphop and influencing the electronic music soundscape for years to come." -
Yo..... a person is described as Scotch-Irish, not Scottish-Irish. Scotch is a perfectly acceptable legal phrase, my Lord. I'm not about to say Scottish-Protestant. Well if it means marriage-slash-citizenship, I won't sweat the small stuff. Ooooo our first fight! SC

Agreed. Nothing more unfortunate than the tooth gap. A hideous human feature. I suppose ears sticking out would suck, and Scheer seems perilously close to the Daily Double.

No intention of hijacking the thread, but I will not let this opportunity pass. Why the FUCK is the chat room gone, I enjoyed the few times I found someone roaming in there. Had 4-5 people in there a couple times. *descends soap box*

Think I had a typo I put 'Peter Bottomley' but should have read 'Heidi Alexander'.

MMMDP Form Guide #34 - Pete Frates 33-year old Frates was captain of the Boston College baseball team, and his future was so bright he had to wear shades. But all those plans were put on ice when he came down with ALS shortly thereafter. He became an inspiration for the Ice Bucket Challenge a couple years back, and though he made ALS foundations a lot of money, he has continued to whither under the disease's clutches. Pete's going to continue staring at you until you agree to pick him for MMMDP 2018.

Sheila Chepng’etich, a Kenyan professional athlete and former world under 20 1500 meters bronze medalist has been confirmed and reported dead by her coach Japheth Kemei. She was ill and taken to the hospital on Friday and on Sunday, died at Kericho County Referral Hospital. She was 22. SC EDIT: OK as SirC suspected -- The 2014 World Under-20 1500m bronze medallist, who was serving a ban on a doping offence, died at Kericho County Referral Hospital, where she had been taken after falling ill on Sunday evening, according to her coach Japheth Kemei. Can't imagine what happened to her. Here's a video of her winning a 2014 race -- get a load of the 'track' the Zambians race on LMAO steeplechase ponies have it better.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death

If you must smoke, Vape. Pretty sure (outside of Sicily) no one has ever died from an exploding fag. -
A little larger school this time: Charles Steger, the 15th president of Virginia Tech, died at his Blacksburg home Sunday evening. He was 70 years old. Steger served as president from 2000 to 2014. Timothy Sands became president of the university in June 2014. SC

Oooooo where is the Jim Bakker vs Jim Baker sweeps I dreamed up? No time like the present. As for cabins in Missouri being a safe place for the Apocalypse, to Rev Jim Bakker I say 'Show Me'. Why would a Reverend be afraid of the Apocalypse anyway ... Hmmmmmmm. SC

Let Sir Creep go on a bit of a limb and call this one before the horse---t hits the proverbial fan. Churchill Downs’ online betting system (developed and run by TwinSpires.com) was inoperable for at least 16 minutes in the final hour leading up to the Kentucky Derby, frustrating horse racing fans looking to wager on the race. TwinSpires.com tweeted about the “technical difficulties” at 6:18 pm. The account then said the problem had been resolved at 6:34 pm. TwinSpires.com can forget about not only their largest client, but just like Arthur Andersen LLC, when a company's reputation is everything, and it's lost.....it's lost. I expect Chapter 11 within a fortnight. SC

Political Discussions And Ranting Thread
Sir Creep replied to Deathray's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
A 'centrist' can't even get on the stage to debate. What a bullshit system. And I do slightly resent you didn't mention Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson (but found time to mention 'centrist' Kasich lmao), by ignoring 3rd parties you are part of the problem, not part of the solution. Yours, etc., Sir Creep Occasional Libertarian -
Lots of good animals being all full of antics lately. The owner of a privately run animal sanctuary in South Africa remains hospitalized Tuesday after a lion mauled him inside the facility. Mike Hodge, a 67-year-old British man, can be seen in the footage trying to evade the animal at the Makarele Predator Centre in Thabazimbi, South Africa. He was rushed to the Mediclinic Hospital just three miles away from the park, where he remains in intensive care.

Jim Argue, Jr., a former state legislator from Little Rock and the president and CEO of the United Methodist Foundation of Arkansas, died May 3 of kidney cancer at 66. He was diagnosed only recently with the disease. Argue served in the Arkansas House from 1991 to 1996, then in the Senate from 1996 to 2008. SC
