John 'Jack' Adams died 50 years ago (73). For many many decades he was the 'winningest' (had to say it) coach of my Detroit Red Wings, and remains the only person to have won the Stanley Cup as a player, coach, and general manager.

No idea who she (or he) is, but I need know nothing further to recognize this pressing as one of the worst recordings in modern phonographic history. SC

So if I turn in a list now no one is allowed any of my 21 names? Or wait -- I'm only turning in 1 name? I have a month to figure it all out. I'm glad Rule 1 is there, it eliminates all these 'I'm here to have fun' people.

A statement from the Kerrville, Texas-based business said Avery died Monday but provided no details. Avery began fashioning his mostly Christian-themed creations himself with his wife in his in-laws' Kerrville garage in 1954. He didn't hire his first outside employee until three years later. Stephen J. McEwen Jr., the former president judge of the Pennsylvania Superior Court and a two-term district attorney of Delaware County, has died at the age of 85. That was quick -- McEwen IS DEAD! Stephen McEwen, that is. I should get 0.0001 points for that, definite tie-break. SC

Now my least favourite part of the post-lineup events: Looking at the names I missed 'who? who's that one? How did I miss him/her?" Just as I'm sure I gave my 3 fellow Semi-Finalists a couple head-scratchers, believe you me I am googling a few names myself. I admire all your research efforts. SC

I explained once that Haag was given to me by the DP Gods and I promised said Gods I would use him no matter what. I was aware his point total. I think I only have two under even 11 points. But who will enjoy some Haag-en-Dies any more than me? SC

I'll be honest I thought it a pretty innocuous post and link to another in the long list of lung cancers, even if he danced that dance 20 years ago. Hey, I'm not about to put the best finds out there the last few days before Cup rosters due....and thought this was nothing at all. Goes to show...

Boudicca I don't know why you are shocked to see activity in Chirac's Couple, it's where sophisticated talk of culture begins. Then an hour later it's potty humour and other sordid discussions no other thread should tolerate. SC

Oh HELL yes. Here here!

Looking at 4 incredible lineups there. Dead Cow gotta hand it to you, it's going to be a whale of a match, best of luck mate. Already 10-v-10 with Bishop Quinn retiring to the broadcast booth. SC

I ain't buying it. Sick yes dying no, or his daughter is the biggest dolt in DP sourcing history (daddy is swell people, just SWELL). Gonna be an all-around big old swing and miss for SC if he leaves us in May. He was one of my last 10 cuts DDP, I just refused to field 8-point names. SC

Same disease Tiny Archibald has (had for years), see basketball thread. -
I promise no hard feelings if you’d prefer I chip in in 2019. Looks like teams sticking to popular names so I suppose I can abide by that in general lol.
