If you can explain to everyone here especially Joey how typing 'Clarissa Slade' into the search box pulls up your post, I'm happy to tear up my Masters of Library Science degree. I think what we have done here is educate YOU to type the person's name so it's searchable. SC

Clarissa Slade, 21, was elected in 2015, when she was 18, to represent Tiverton as a Conservative councillor on Mid Devon District Council. She was found dead at her home in Winchester, where she was going to university, by her housemate. It is not yet known what caused her death. SC

Once one of the nation's most prominent hatemongers, noted Bay County white supremacist and Nazi ally James Paul Wickstrom has died at the age of 75. Most recently, Wickstrom lived in an apartment in Linwood, according to property records. Saginaw County Clerk Michael Hanley confirmed that a death certificate was making its way to his office. He doesn't sound too sad about it. SC

It's OK, someone named Joey Russ edited the American entry. There goes my excitement for the fucking day
-
Could well be. I randomly checked a couple of my names and lo and behold this popped up. The format of the edit for date of death is certainly questionable. The good news is that a 90 year old has a psycho spammer after them, so he should be dead soon if not already. Edit: Yes, I think we can call off the dogs. The actual Polish Wiki version mentions his death not. SC

As posted in Scavenger Hunt II, Polish PM Edward Babiuch died on March 4, 2018 according to Wiki. Shows the edit being made, but no link. SC -
According to THIS Wiki page, my unique EU Edward Babiuch died a mere 4 days into this affair on March 4! Confirmation? SC

Yes, I think the topic came to light maybe last year (2 years ago?), some guy died in an iron lung and it mentioned some lonely stats like you have linked to. I forget his claim to fame, wrote a book or summat, prolly about his wonderful iron lung existence. SC

"The collective (AKA Spooky Tooth) got resurrected, with some of the musicians absent, in 1998 and 2004, the latest – last ever – reunion resulting in "Nomad Poets" which would serve as their epitaph now that the singer (Mike Harrison, 3-25-2018) and drummer (Mike Kellie 1-20-2017) have died." SC

James F. Holland, a founding father of chemotherapy who helped pioneer a lifesaving drug treatment for pediatric leukemia patients, died on Thursday at his home in Scarsdale, N.Y. He was 92. The cause was respiratory failure. Dr. Holland and his medical collaborators in the 1950s were scorned by some colleagues as research “cowboys,” as he put it, because they audaciously tackled what was considered an incurable disease and tried to treat it with several chemicals simultaneously, instead of sequentially. Delores Taylor, whose empathy for Native Americans informed the 1971 surprise action-film hit “Billy Jack,” which she wrote and starred in with her husband, Tom Laughlin, died on Friday in Woodland Hills, Calif. She was 85 and had dementia. SC

A company chairman was trampled to death by his own horses after taking them out for a carriage drive exercise, an inquest has heard. James Scott-Lee, chairman of estate agent chain Chancellors, was killed as he returned his horses to his five stables in Kirtlington, Oxfordshire, when the horses became startled and kicked him to the ground before trampling on him. The coroner yesterday heard that Mr Scott-Lee was then crushed by all four wheels of the carriage as he lay on the ground.z SC

He will outlive April, which is all I'm concerned with.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooO!!!!! I've seriously NOBODY for the next round. This was my ringer, hell 1 hit may win. ARRGHHHH! If others have good names (I have some for May/June but will have to expose them for April just in case and I haven't anything worth a damn), you're doing better than I.

A few folks have chosen John 'Cocksy' Cocks for one pool or another (he is on Gris Gris for example). By the sounds of this, he is fine. Looks like you can pencil him for a health review in 2019. SC

For the record this isn't any more a 'news source' than Joey's post. Remember, it's not me stirring the pot, rather I'm only pointing out what was put in the pot. SC

Only one way that an NBA G-League player will ever get mentioned in this thread, and that's to drop over dead on the court during a game. Or pert near. Never regained consciousness, close enuff. Obliging us here at DL is NBA G League player Zeke Upshaw of the Grand Rapids Drive who died just days after collapsing on the court during a game against the Long Island Nets. Upshaw fell to the ground with about 50 seconds left in Saturday night's game. He was taken off the court on a stretcher. Upshaw was 26 years old. He played three seasons at Illinois State and wrapped up his college eligibility with one season at Hofstra. SC -
Add Remington to the list: Remington, a company that began making flintlock rifles when there were only 19 United States, has filed for bankruptcy protection. Mounting debts at the arms manufacturer have snowballed. Panic sales that drove revenue for gun makers ever higher evaporated with Trump's arrival in the White House, and Remington's production of one of the most well-known weapons in the world, the Bushmaster AR-15, have overwhelmed the Madison, North Carolina, company. Late Sunday, according to records from the bankruptcy court of the district of Delaware, Remington Outdoor Co. agreed to a prepackaged deal that would give holders of the company's $550 million term loan an 82.5 percent stake, according to a release. It remains unclear what will happen to the 3,500 or so employees at Remington as it reorganizes. SC

Well this will be interesting to see if it’s still a go with Bernie DeKoven 16 years hence: “Memorial Frisbees Steady Ed has apparently willed that his ashes be made into Frisbees. You go, dude! My current burial plan calls for a tether ball to be bulit into my headstone.“ SC

I presume blogs don't count then. It's slightly amazing 8 hours later here we sit, but lesson here is don't die on a Sunday morning unless your goal is to fly under the radar.
