Detroit Police suspect suicide after the rocker was found dead in his hotel bathroom. Way to leave two innocent kids behind you worthless POS father. Fahk Chris Cornell. Don't give me the 'inner demons' speech, grow up & get over them. Oh you'd like to voice an alternative position--pound sand up YOUR arse too. Alls he gots to does is look at his kids and that's the reason to do all you can for as long as you can. May God damn him to hell (thus the name of this thread). Oh, and Chris, for the record, I didn't listen to your $hite music. My ex-wife did, and it was the primary reason she's my ex, gawdamn Soundgarden CDs. SC

Viktor Gorbatko, one of the first Soviet-era cosmonauts and a veteran of three flights into space, died on Wednesday (May 17). He was 82. "Roscosmos expresses deep condolences to the relatives and friends of Viktor Vasilyevich," the space agency wrote in a statement posted to its website. The cause of death was not stated. TASS, the state-owned news agency, reported Gorbatko died in the intensive care unit of a Moscow hospital after falling ill in recent weeks. In March 1960 at the age of 26, Gorbatko was selected to train alongside Yuri Gagarin and 18 other air force pilots as the Soviet Union's first cosmonaut group. SC

Seen Any Good Films Lately?

"The film contains no dialogue, with the cast communicating entirely in animalistic grunts." So this film only became strange for you when they got to the death by blowjob scene? -
I try to find photos/images that are like 300x300 in size before attaching. I say that in light of ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

A day full of big news already.... Fox News confirmed Thursday morning that its founder, Roger Ailes, has died at age 77. It was first reported by Drudge Report, who published a statement by his wife. Looks like the sexual harassment comes to an end at Faux News. SC (Edit: I see this has been posted in Deaths of 2017. Know this: Sir Creep searched 'Ailes' and got zero hits prior to posting. Well now....at least the day's on an uptick after the earlier Chris Cornell news.)

Here's an American entry for Shameless 2018 -- if she makes it. Earlier this year, Andy Sealy found out she had cancer and needed a double mastectomy, so she threw a good-bye party for her breasts and made headlines across the world. But after the March 8 surgery to remove both her breasts, follow-up testing gave her some troubling news: she has Stage 4 (they originally thought she was Stage 1) metastatic breast cancer — and it is incurable. The link is from People Magazine, a very popular rag in the States and worldwide I reckon. I think she has a solid obit chance as any Shameless team member. SC

U.S. Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, has been diagnosed with advanced kidney cancer and will undergo surgery Wednesday to remove her right kidney. The stage IV cancer was found during a routine physical, and it has spread to one of her ribs. Hirono, 69, said she's being treated by a kidney cancer specialist at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. Her treatment plan includes surgery to remove her kidney followed by an outpatient procedure to eradicate the lesion on her rib. SC

A man on Instagram has been accused of animal cruelty after he was filmed using a Maltese puppy to polish a Maserati. Man's best friend....and best buffer too! SC -
He's just embarrassed, he had to say something. It was a silly comment however many years and obits later in Hollywood Possibilities. The horse is out of the barn. Of course that's what it's for, this ain't Toast's first rodeo. Someone posted on my FB about the guy who invented the GIF is saying it's supposed to be pronounced 'jif'. Sorry.....even if true, that ship has sailed. These two situations are not dissimilar. SC

Maybe by 'television' they meant the band Television, well they're all alive. However being 67-69 years old, as we know, musicians are near the end. SC

I may be the only one but I love Mazzy Star. For not much going on in the world of death the past three weeks, I seem to be feeling melancholy about a few that we have lost. :( SC

OK this time I will vote. GWBush seems to have a few issues, and I just suspect when his time comes it'll come very quickly. There are a few more likely options but I'll go for the guy who may die from a slight cough. SC

Very proud to say I got the Ian Brady hit correct cuz I didn't choose and held out till we got a result, then I voted. I'm just a winner winner WINNER! lol SC

Umpire Steve Palermo, whose accomplished career ended when he was shot trying to break up a robbery in 1991, has died. He was 67. Major League Baseball announced Sunday that Palermo had died. Palermo, who lived in the Kansas City area, had been ill with cancer. SC [note: I searched 'umpire' and after however many years this website has been around, got zero 'hits' in the baseball thread but dozens in the cricket thread. What a crew you people are.]

Well here is a test case. Almost put Don Hill on my DDP team but the obit possibility seemed too remote, depsite corruption, prison, and terminal illness. It was only Dallas after all, and he was only an interim Mayor. So now let's see if he obits. Oddly -- this article's headline says he's dead but the story speaks of him in both the past- and present-tense. Former Dallas Councilman Don Hill died Saturday night. Hill, convicted of corruption, was released from prison after being diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. Hill was serving 18 years in prison after being found guilty of bribery and extortion, among other charges in a high-profile corruption case in 2009. His sentence is being commuted to time served. According to a motion filed by the U.S. Attorney’s office, Hill has a life expectancy of less than 18 months. Hill was expected to live with his brother and niece in DeSoto. SC

Political Discussions And Ranting Thread

Seems the proper thread.... An article about the 'Genetic Dead Ends' that rule modern-day Europe. You sterile barren SOBs! LMAO SC ["In addition to France, childless men and barren women currently rule Italy, Germany, the UK, Scotland, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission, has likewise never fathered nor raised a seedlin’."]
