A bull that got loose in Queens Tuesday morning died shortly after it was captured, police said. The runaway bull, who escaped from a slaughterhouse, was spotted by the corner of Archer and Sutphin avenues at about 10:20 a.m. The animal was cornered just over an hour later in the yard of a home on Marsden Street in South Jamaica, but then ran again. I must voice my displeasure that we no longer have the button to click on that dropped down the most recent post without having to actually enter the thread. It was a massive time saver, now I have to wait for each thread to open. Complaint over. Duly noted. SC

I"m not seeing any links 30 hours later. Interesting. James Nichols, a man once accused of conspiring in the Oklahoma City bombing, has died. Nichols, 62, died on Tuesday, Feb. 14, following a "long illness," according to his obituary. An aside -- we used to drive early mornings to go fishing in the tip of the thumb of Michigan (Grindstone City) and the long drive from Detroit would take us by a really cool barn with a huge American flag/eagle on it (and a couple outbuildings and neighbours who also were Michigan Millitia creepy). It was embedded in my mind, so when the OKC bombing went down and the Nichols' brothers property was shown on TV and there was the barn! All Murica and shit. SirC -

That is absolutely NOT what she said (that he should run as a corpse). "The wife of Zimbabwe's 92-year-old President, Robert Mugabe, has said that he is so popular that if he died, he could run as a corpse in next year's election and still win votes." That's a big fucking difference.

Widower unless I'm missing something.I'll admit, I was somehow unaware of the difference. He'll have to put up with being a widow, I'm sure he won't mind. Precisely. Just don't call a dead person a whore. The reaction by a couple do-gooders around here you'll find appalling and illogical. SC Nothing illogical about it. You say she was a whore, I can find no evidence that she was..... ...he said of the Playboy centerfold. -

I was wondering what happened to Carol Lloyd, who had but a couple months to live at the beginning of 2016! I know she had ZERO chance to obit so I let it go. Now we wait and see if that's true. Brisbane's flame-haired powerhouse singer songwriter Carol Lloyd – the woman who gave Australia the great 1970s rock song A Matter of Time – has died in Brisbane's Wesley Hospital. Carol Lloyd with Railroad Gin and later with her own band, toured with AC/DC, Suzi Quatro, Billy Thorpe, Skyhooks, Daddy Cool, the Little River Band, Stevie Wright and Matt Taylor of Chain. The singer, former advertising executive and a long-time mentor to young singers had been in the Wesley Hospital after a long illness with pulmonary fibrosis. Just finished watching it. As the only person around here who has worked offshore rigs 100 miles out similar to where the action was, it was a unique perspective. I was on land jobs when DH occurred. I could knit pick different professional aspects of the movie but it's a movie (e.g. Walberg waltzing around the deck without FRCs....as if.)Review: The authentic parts of the movie - A The parts that were Hollywooded up - D Overall - C No reason to add Hollywood to this event. I knew 11 died, but they musta showed 30 people doing so. In 2012 I met a DH survivor at -- you guessed it -- offshore survival and he had plenty to say which is at odds with the depiction provided. I will say it's an intense action flick that ended and I'm like huh? And 90 minutes had gone by and it felt like 30. So there's that. Sir Creep -

Who? As long as it's not Klymaxx.... SC Have a certified gold single and 5 top 40 hits, including 2 in the top 5 and be mocked on a forum about death - it's a good job poor Sonny is dead so he can't feel this pain.
