For all I know you linked to an article showing a woman calling for the overthrow of the U.S. Government by force. And by the looks of her she will prevail! SC

And a Nobel Prize winner to boot--but I gotta show love to the thread I started and dude is primarily a doctor not a researcher. And from Detroit too :-) Miroslav David Poulik, M.D., former chief of immunopathology at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, died Wednesday at age 93 in Panama City Beach, Fla. Cause was death was congestive heart failure, according to his son-in-law, Bruce Babiarz. Poulik, known as "Dr. Dave," was a member of a medical research team whose work won a Nobel Prize in 1972 for work on immunoglobulin. Lol now you're reaching Rock! It's ok not to post for a day when there ain't Nuttin, and today there ain't Nuttin. In fact I only came to comment how interesting it was that there were NO deaths for Aug 19 posted last year at all (2015) in Wiki, which must be the only example of that. SC

A lot of ways you could go with the subtitle of this thread GCReptile. Maybe I'm too old (hell I was too old to watch 90210) but I don't get your tag line at all. Oh well. Sad SirC

How is that even possible?

Former NFL offensive lineman Leon Donohue has died at age 77. San Jose State announced Wednesday that Donohue died on Aug. 11 in Redding. The school did not release a cause of death. After starring at San Jose State, Donohue spent six seasons in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys. OK I went ahead and read this entire obit. She won a Stockholm beauty contest, was an actress, played in reality TV. Lots of thread options, maybe a couple catch-alls (Dead of 2016). Wrestling, though, seems to have eluded her resume. But here she is. SC

For the record, 2 people chose João Havelange correctly for the 7th death of the year. For the record, 3 people chose João Havelange incorrectly as the 6th death of the year. This means someone jumped ship, and we need to find out who it was and mock them mercilessly. SC

I should hope so. You'd have to have some swinging balls to say 'a 99-100 year old man is DEFINITELY NOT going to die'. SC

Seriously, what the hell is going on at the ESPN studios? It's like the Kansas City Royals dugout in the late 70s, some cancer molecules floating around infesting everyone. Two dead already, Sagar and Mortenson and this Gilmore guy and a couple I'm sure I'm forgetting.... all have cancer. SC -

John Bel Edwards was on BBC TV News over the weekend when they covered this story. Still amazes me that someone named John Edwards could get elected after the stigma of the previously scorned Presidential candidate, which I guess accounts for the BEL in JBE just to clarify 'I'm not the a-hole guy'. Still, surprising he prevailed. He seems a decent chap fwiw. SC
