Does Janet 'Penelope Pitstop/Judy Jetson' Waldo count as a big one? She's 85 according to wiki and 91 on imdb. I wonder if she's done the wild thing with Peter Perfect yet. http://abc7.com/entertainment/voice-of-judy-jetson-janet-waldo-dies-at-age-96/1383083/guess we'll soon find out !AwwwwRIP So wait she was in her late 40s and 50s doing a teenager voice? An aside, unlike 90% of the recent additions I like the cut of your jib CoffinLodger. Keep up the good work. SC

Whom Are You Tarring With The Epithet "twunt"?
Sir Creep replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Thanking you, Cat, was hoping it would be a mahoosive death notice, but I'll save that for later. If you'd been a bit quicker you could have Ali. I don't see what's so mahoosive about cricketer Hamza Ali, but hey. SC -
From an article re: Pulse gay bar shootings, also in Orlando: (http://m.wflx.com/wflx/db_331891/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=qpX7yAHP) "The incident follows the fatal shooting on Friday of 22-year-old singer Christina Grimmie, who was killed after her concert in Orlando by a 27-year-old Florida man who later killed himself." I never even began to put those clearly distinct incidents together, why on earth are they?? Say what you will, the inference has been made, and I find it cheap lazy journalism. SC

Ah, at last, it's started... Not sure this new twist on elimination rounds is going to go over well. SC

Shuaibu Amodu, who managed Nigeria for six separate spells, has died aged 58. He died three days after Stephen Keshi, the man he replaced twice and was replaced by once. Wow. I love coincidental deaths. Nothing happens by chance. SC

May I kindly ask that no one post anything in this thread unless it's updating the near death or demolish of one Tony Adamowitz. Every time the thread is lit up with a new post I get to dreaming my dreamy little dreams only to be once again disappointed. Quit hurting my feelings. Us Yanks have feelings too, you know. Yours, etc SirC

Sir Creep replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular

June 11: Brewer of note Samuel Whibread - 220 years Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh - 15 years This was also one of the two huge days last year when we lost like 4-5 people of note in a single day; Dusty Rhodes, Ornette Coleman, Jim Ed Brown (I got points for him) and Ron Moody along with a couple not as famous folks. It was a busy DL day.

That is not true. The word 'gaudy' is much older than that, it's in Shakespeare. Comes from the Latin gaudere, meaning rejoice/celebrate, I think. Those A levels not completely forgotten According to the NGRAM viewer https://books.google.com/ngrams/graph?content=gaudy&year_start=1300&year_end=2000&corpus=15&smoothing=3&share=&direct_url=t1%3B%2Cgaudy%3B%2Cc0#t1%3B%2Cgaudy%3B%2Cc1gaudy first appeared in written form in 1578 which is around Shakespeare's time but before his plays were first published. I'll buy that, I was parroting what was said a few times on our American networks during the Olympic telecasts from Barcelona wher his work was prevalent. So looks like they were wrong unless it meant something different in Shakespeare's time/usage. SC

A pilot whale named Bubbles, who spent nearly 30 years at SeaWorld in San Diego, died Thursday. SC http://www.10news.com/news/bubbles-pilot-whale-at-seaworld-dies-060916 Edit: they say animals act strange before an earthquake; seems they had a pretty good 5.2+ jolt in Cali tonight. Bubbles reacted by dying rather than have to put up with more of that shit.
