Americans buy breadcrumbs! So do the English, but yes you can buy breadcrumbs in the shops. It's a convenience item. Much in the same way as shredded cheese. This way you don't have to dry out a loaf of bread, and crumble it up before you can use it. Calling breadcrumbs a convenience item and following it with that sentence, well hell, I'll call BREAD a convenience item then. You don't have to get the flour and yeast together, the drudgery of making a loaf and popping in the oven whilst cleaning up the kitchen, letting it cool a bit and buttering the damned thing before you can use it.... SC BTW us Yanks are keen on bottled water, with little proof it isn't anything beyond what we get from our tap at home. -
Rather than giving me appreciation for Winnetou your post has instead caused me to lose appreciation for Gang of Four. This is a gay-ass thread......which supports Spade's definition. SC

Almost incomprehensible translation job from Google. Deathlist picked the wrong Chirac. Deathlist doesn't usually go in for the "Fringes of Fame/Family of the Famous" type of candidate. Besides, as the article says, she was not well-known even in France, where many people didn't even know she existed. Very sad. Dude -- OCD much? It's called a sense of humour, look into it. SC

My heart is broken. As a child and into my teens I spent hundreds of untold hours listening to Detroit Tigers games on my transistor radio under my pillow when I was supposed to be sleeping, listening to the greatest broadcast team in baseball, Ernie Harwell and Paul Carey. Paul Carey has died today at 88. RIP SC
