New Here And Just Saying Hello

None from me, mind. SC -
He deserves one lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng before Paul WhoTheFuck Daniels. SC Nope. Not for a UK based dp he doesn't. I don't care how big Merle Haggard may or may not be in the Country and Western music scene, but the entire genre is US in origin. Paul Daniels has been a household name in the uk for decades, we are cognizant of a few C&W singers, none that I'm aware of are as well known as Mr Daniels is this side of the pond. Continually re-iterating the importance of US personalities (and or writing "who the fuck" about non-US ones) is merely highlighting your perspective. The point was neither deserves a thread. They should be few and far between. Oh I know the Stoke Sentinel is blaring a headline for Daniels. Maybe that's enough around here. SC

So I'm signed on to a different computer. Asked to change my pw cuz of course it doesn't recognize me. So it sends email to me with new pw. I type in pw and sign on anew. So.... now I go into my settings to change my pw to something I would like, and enter the pw from the email, my new pw twice, and I keep getting told there's 'an error with your CURRENT pw'. Oh that's right...the one YOU sent me and that I am here signed on with! So I cut/paste it two more attempts, same fahkin thing. So I type the pw in the email by hand (just in case it didn't like cut/paste) and same thing. I'm sitting here with the email still open looking at the message with the pw YOU provided. Now DL says that's NOT my 'current pw'. Fuck off. SirC

This one slipped by us a couple weeks ago. Linus Maurer, a cartoonist and illustrator whose old friend Charles Schulz borrowed his first name for Charlie Brown's sidekick in his "Peanuts" comic strip, has died. Maurer died Jan. 29 at age 90 in Sonoma, California. He had suffered from Parkinson's and heart trouble. Go see Stan Lee thread about your horribly-timed boner of a post. Meh here's a link SC https://www.facebook.com/fanexpocanada/posts/1064627426922180:0

Stan Lee seemed like a very ambitious pick for 2016 IMHO. If there was any doubt to his doing ok 2016 you may want to tell him personally, which you can do by attending Marvel Comics' Fan Expo Canada, where he is appearing in person. sounds like she is in a dire situation. She is a MUST for the deathlist if she makes it. It's tough to say, but pancreatic cancer at 83. Depending on how advanced it is, she might not make it to see the New Year. Depends on what stage it is and what they're doing about it. I included former Montana Governor and former Olympic speed skater 80-yr old Judy Martz who was diagnosed stage 3 in late 2014. But I think NEXT year is her year, but didn't want to whiff after researching her and keeping quiet about her last year. Even at 80 it's only stage 3 and I guess 'an operation' (they didn't say whipple procedure but something like that musta been done) and chemo and she seems ok for now though info is scant. Being 83 isn't an end all, if it's stage 4 that's different, if it's inoperable that's different. It all depends.SC

I can't find any relevant 2016 (or late 2015) updates; is there anything about Nobby Stiles' prostate cancer that would lead us to believe it's currently much ado about nothing (for a year at least) or that he's about to be carried off the field again? You guys are my boots on the ground lol, all I have is a family member telling the media to fuck off and leave his dying arse alone. Can't blame them, but hyperbole may have carried the day. Wondering what y'all know if anything. SirC

Thanks boss! Was going to update with this link to the proceedings, so now I feel like I'm piling on :-(But this has a photo of Khieu Samphan at 83 looking a little rough for sure. None of my Shadow List DDP boy Nuon Chea, but he's 89 now and gotta be getting ground into the earth by all this judicial/criminal crap lol.
