What's everyone's initial thoughts as to people in comas; people with ALS; people with Alzheimer's..... As to their inclusion on your DL? I'm most interested in ALS, as they SAYYYYYY 3 years or so from diagnosis, yet most seem to survive past that---well past that. Are they just too hard to figure out to mess with? For instance David Lee Roths guitarist Jason Becker should be dead, years ago. Has he cashed the last of his good luck chips 2016? If an ALS victim gets a tracheotomy to assist breathing they can last forever, or am I wrong? (For instance Becker's bio says he can no longer talk and communicates through blinking....this tells me he has a tube breathing for him, and would explain his appearance on terra firms still). Alzheimer's seems as difficult to predict; and as bad off as Glen Campbell is it just seems a year too early to me to put his name up. Poor folks get about 5-7 years from diagnosis and I'd think rich folks get better care, so closer to 7. Campbell is only 3 years into his diagnosis. Although not a stated goal, but I see that without changing my usual efforts I will be on PAGE 1 of the 'Most overall posts' probably by Valentines 2016, but certainly by St Patrick's Day, and I'll tip a Tullamore's Dew to that whence it occurs. I also note that once there, moving up from 30th to say 25th will be a monumental effort, which we won't consider till year's end. But I should be no less than 3750 posts by then. There are a few in the top 30 who I see are no longer active. Maybe they met some of our DLers or maybe they lost interest. Either way, they'll be run down soon enough. Oh yes. It matters.
