Alberta Progressive Conservative MLA Manmeet Bhullar died in a traffic accident Monday after stopping on a snowy Highway 2 to help a driver in need. Bhullar, who was the MLA for Calgary-Greenway and former Tory government minister, was travelling to Edmonton from Calgary when he stopped near the Blindman River north of Red Deer to help after another driver rolled into the median. He was outside his vehicle on the median when an out of control semi-truck hit him, according to RCMP. He died later in hospital. He was 35. SC

Former Iloilo Gov. Niel Tupas Sr., 82, died early Tuesday morning due to lingering illness. Tupas Sr., who would have celebrated his birthday on Friday, had been confined at the hospital for about a month. He died at the Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City around 1:35 a.m. Tuesday. SC

Now being called a drug overdose. Though I think anyone sensible would've suspected a 29 year old with 'catastophoic organ failure' prolly was dabbling. SC

I call dibs on posting his death in the Anniversary thread in 510 years! SCreep

Health update on Joey Feek Says goodbye to their young daughters. Guessing December is out of the question. SChttp://hollywoodlife.com/2015/11/04/joey-feek-cancer-update-dying-rory-feek-goodbye-daughters/ Went in hospice last week. SChttp://www.people.com/article/joey-feel-cancer-death-interview-tennessean Joey Feek has accepted that she doesn't have much time left to live. UK obit chances negligable I'd say, and in the wake of ramping up terrorism on the news, exceptionally bad. A Deathrace contender for sure, mind. There's a photo in one article of her in hospice bed trying to spend time with her 18-mo old daughter as the end draws near, if you want to feel sad in general and shitty about what we do here (which is gloat over the death of others). I generally don't care about these people as they pass on but that kid won't know her mom at all. Awful. SC Country singers Joey + Rory will move forward with their plans to release (on Valentine's Day 2016) the gospel album they began recording before Joey Feek was diagnosed with terminal cancer. SC

Joseph Silverstein, a longtime violinist with the Boston Symphony, and who was also the music director of the Utah Symphony from 1983 to 1998 and a committed teacher, died of a heart attack Saturday night in Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was 83. SC -
I'm pretty impressed with the carnage what with many teams over 100 and we only started 90 days ago or so. I think I have 6 hits, and for 3 months give myself an 'atta boy'. Expect to see a fair number of my survivors in DDP and elsewhere. 5 weeks to go. Or are we rolling to June 30? ;-) SC
-
Ok. So it seems the only folks with access to the DDP rosters for 2015 are those playing. That's all good. However, I am putting a theme team or two together and bloody well don't want to spend time putting said team together if it's already been done. Why send a team of people named Aloysius if someone already has done so? It'll be 80+% the same names and very little amusement. I could whine about everyone else being able to pilfer names from other lists while I'm left to do 100% my own research, but my primary complaint oddly enough is for my theme teams. SirC

Or duping people into choosing him. I've got a couple like that this year.
-
Got his point across.
-
I was way ahead of time here, he has been on my deadlypool list for THIS year.I know what will happen now, every fucker will pick him for next year and I will have to either share me points or find another on their last legs....... I hope you get your points Lord FN cuz frankly it takes cajones to include Alzheimer's sufferers on your list IMHO, short of extremely late stage which in January Hill wasn't. If you don't get your points rest assured Sir Creep will be first in the line of fuckers picking him for 2016. SC

I´m glad that a Czech has finally appeared in any of the threads, what an honour for our little, yet beautiful country!! Actually I had posted a few days earlier about Karel Schwartzenberg. So that's two in a week! SC 1. I believe Blazer when he says cancer (for now) is gone. Zero reason to put him on 2016 list, says Sir Creep. 2. As for Mikita, I like his name next year but there IS this (granted its case by case): "People diagnosed with LBD survive an average of about eight years according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. People with late-stage LBD often lose their ability to communicate, care for themselves and even swallow." Even if he only gets 2 of his promised 8 years, that eliminates next year. But I can see including him due to other circ's. SC

Edit (11/23): according to this article it may be only due to a loss (not total yet) of his hearing; I guess that's a health reason. SC http://www.czechjournal.cz/karel-schwarzenberg-wont-run-top09-party-leader-re-election/

I'm torn between this is either brilliant connecting the dots and Nanci's health is in trouble, or it's much ado about nothing.Try this supposed information from 2012 on for size (re: arthritis you mentioned) and see if perhaps you don't think she may not be performing etc cuz it's recurred and much worse. But obviously not life threatening, unless she can't scratch her recurring skin cancer when it itches and therein lies the rub. SC http://www.music-news.com/news/UK/56916/Read

Is that their birth certificate name or stage (artistic) name? We all have stage names at times, as this site indicates. If that's their given name it's a winner SC

Could be he just wore out on blogging. He has authored books since 2012, although the most recent I can find is his autobiography in 2013.http://www.kaleidoscopepublishing.co.uk/books-mrnationwide.html Similarly here is a sept 2013 article about the man with zero indication he is ill, only old. http://www.express.co.uk/celebrity-news/431103/What-happened-to-Nationwide-s-Michael-Barratt. Also note the spelling of his surname is Barratt with an A. Final note, he and his wife started this blog about grandparenting: http://www.grandparentsnow.com/2015/04/ And the latest entry is from April 2015. Appears nothing wrong with the man but unless you sign up you can't read the articles. I'm guessing he's fine and 100% wits about him. SC
