    The 15th Death Of 2015

I've decided to retract my vote for Kohl, though he may well go next.I just got to thinking (always dangerous) and I'm like hmmm with all that's going on around the world, it's kinda queer we don't hear anything from one particular opinionated statesman, Henry Kissinger. It's eerily quiet in fact. I'm thinking as he alights from his Thanksgiving feast next week he will clutch his damaged heart, drop to his knees, and utter those words that Nell Carter's character (Florida) said on Good Times when she lamented that her husband was dead: "Damn Damn DAMMMMMMMMN!" I heard the bombs had "with love from Paris" written on them. They were American bombs, not French. They could have still put that note on the bombs, just becuase it's not France dropping the bombs doesn't mean vengeance isn't possible. I think the French would write avec l'amour de Paris on their bombs. Can I like this one twice? Best response this month. Well played. SC

    Shaun`s Death By Numbers

Yes that would count but you link doesn`t seem to work. Ah, the "is" from my sentence made it into the link... http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/nov/16/former-creighton-president-schlegel-dies-at-72/ Yep that counts just as the obituary has been provided by the associated press. The Unknown man :213 Sir Creep:167 gcreptile:142 Death Impends:141 Shaun of the Dead :124 Morbidkid :121 Bibliogryphon:102 Grim up North :101 Captain Chorizo:73 Maryportfuncity:64 Handrejka:50 Rotten Ali:50 Jiroemon Kimura:19 Deathray :17 msc:15 Updated for Schlegel (another name I hadn`t heard of). That puts Sir Creep and gcreptile in second and third place respectively but both still a wide margin behind the unknown man. Also just checked and no one had Warren Mitchell.I could have sworn I saw his name on my master list but I am pretty sure I must be mistaken. Just slide him in onto your team Shaun! :-?

I think so, too - but the New York Times is not an acceptable obit in this contest. I think so, too - but the New York Times is not an acceptable obit in this contest. Good point, I thought it was. Well goodness where is CNN when u need them? AP should come through. I'm putting my DDP teams together without a care if they'll obit, but rather if they die. That's kinda an important hurdle to get over first. SC
  13. Really bummed out as I put together a DDP theme team that one person I had lined up and one of the great all time names, Poncie Ponce, is in fact deceased 2013. :-( Maybe I'll name the team the Poncie Ponce Memorial Team or summat. I named my NCAA brackets team the Ahmad Givens Memorial Team and won the whole enchilada and I don't watch a lick of basketball SirC

I think Pearl Carr has just had a birthday. Here's a Guardian article that mentions a show broadcast containing a tribute marking Teddy Johnson's 95th birthday last year. Safe to say I think they are both still alive if we haven't heard differently. http://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2014/sep/13/david-hepworth-radio-review That IS incredible. I know not of these two but yes thanks to Python fully aware of the skit referencing the song. Well someone should put them on a list next year. SC

Bruce B. Dayton, the last of the five brothers whose retailing empire included Dayton-Hudson department stores, some of the nation’s first enclosed shopping malls and the Target discount chain, died on Friday at his home in Orono, Minn., near Minneapolis. He was 97. Bruce Dayton and his wife provided more than $80 million in capital, endowment and acquisition funds and more than 2,000 works of art to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, now the Minneapolis Institute of Art. He served on the institute’s board for 73 years. Something like that. At the end of the day, there's more support amongst the public for left wing policies than there is for right wing ones. Look at Jeremy Corbyn for example, he got voted Labour leader and lots of people love him Well, you know how it is.We do love a well to do middle class lentil eating cunt, who has barely worked a single day in his life, leading the country ahead of an old Etonian, eh. Funny how the Labour party started as the party of working people (i.e. labour, as in work) and ended up being the party of choice for benefits scroungers (i.e. those who don't work). The irony which party would you vote for? I wouldn't even bother. Complete waste of time. So is bitching about the results thereafter. SC

SChttp://hollywoodlife.com/2015/11/04/joey-feek-cancer-update-dying-rory-feek-goodbye-daughters/ Went in hospice last week. SChttp://www.people.com/article/joey-feel-cancer-death-interview-tennessean Joey Feek has accepted that she doesn't have much time left to live. UK obit chances negligable I'd say, and in the wake of ramping up terrorism on the news, exceptionally bad. A Deathrace contender for sure, mind. There's a photo in one article of her in hospice bed trying to spend time with her 18-mo old daughter as the end draws near, if you want to feel sad in general and shitty about what we do here (which is gloat over the death of others). I generally don't care about these people as they pass on but that kid won't know her mom at all. Awful. SC
  24. Just found out my cousin (well like third cousin once removed) will be appearing on Chopped! Canada, so if you chef types and Canucks wanna tune in.... Her name is Kendall. Who knew we had culinary talent in our family tree? SirC
