Miami Heat guard Gerald Green has been hospitalized, according to the team, which released a statement that neither explains when Green checked in nor what ailment is affecting the player. TMZ Sports, however, paints a more bizarre picture. According to witnesses, Green “was acting strange” and causing a “huge commotion” in his Miami condo building’s lobby when Miami Fire and Rescue arrived on Wednesday morning. TMZ’s sources said it took several people to restrain Green, including an unnamed teammate, who helped get Green on a stretcher and into an awaiting ambulance.
