Nice set of Admins/Moderators here at DL. You know, if you let your kids loose in the house while you go enjoy a few fags on the porch, the kids may be acting badly, but how would you know you've ignored them all afternoon?! 8 of the 20 (or is it 19 as we have one that looks a duplicate) Admins/Moderators haven't signed into this website SINCE THE BEGINNING OF 2015! No folks not a typo. That's 40%!!! (And here come the aplogist Admins/Moderators saying these AWOL ones administer from afar and clandestinely and otherwise bring fruit trays to the annual meeting so they are necessary cogs in the wheel, in 3....2....1....) If you're taking applications for replacements who might actually give a rat's ass, I'll throw me name in ye ole hat. SirC

A senior East German official whose impromptu announcement at a news conference led to the demise of the Berlin Wall in 1989 has died aged 86. ccording to his mother, Elizabeth Jackson, "One Life to Live" alum, Nathaniel Marston (ex-Michael McBain), was in a serious car accident Saturday October 31. On her Facebook page Jackson posted: "Please pray for my son Nathaniel Marston. He was in a car accident last night and is in the intensive care on life support.” His back and neck were broken in several places and in addition he has other internal injuries. Jackson asks of fans, “Please pray that he will recover and walk again. Nathaniel is now on a breathing machine to keep him alive and he may face life with tremendous paralysis if he survives this tragedy." What a horrible mess. Better off dead. This week, Gov. Jerry Brown settled one of the most contentious ethical, medical and legal issues of recent decades, deciding that Californians with terminal illness may seek a doctor's help to die on their own terms. The controversial new law raises both complex and practical questions. The language of the measure, as well as experiences with Oregon's similar Death With Dignity Act, provides some insight into how the law will work in the Golden State. Here is a look at some of the answers. http://www.contracostatimes.com/california/ci_28929640/californias-new-end-life-law-questions-and-answers

Nash was an awful pick. As pointless as Chuck Berry. If Berry went on stage and got electrocuted that doesn't make it a good pick. Did your cerebellum become detached at some point recently, GossipGabe? I didn't ask 'who cares how Al died' rhetorically. I quite rarely read obits that are posted. I note the person died and that's that.. Their life stories rarely interest me. I don't give any fucks about the budding acting career or military ssrvice or high school athletics or marriages and children or ANYTHING about a young Al Molinaro. If he died of some disease I might look to to the timeframe from diagnosis to death, for educational purposes only. Someone on DL once tried insulting me about some question I posed about a deceased saying in essence 'didn't you bother to read the obit?' And I'm like 'no, who in their right mind takes time to do that.' I believe we are simply at an impasse. I find the reading of these obits as obtuse as others find my attitude negligent. Ironically I saved the day for y'all by providing the answer about Al's demise that I didn't care about. Life's a funny thing. SC

The leader of the TOP 09 political party and former Czech foreign minister, Karel Schwarzenberg, has announced that he will not stand for re-election to the top party post at its upcoming party congress. His position as party chairman was due to be renewed in November. Schwarzenberg, cited health reasons as one reason for his refusal to stand again. Semi-vague but one to keep our DL eye on.
