What the hell, let's ruffle some feathers and push the boundaries of what can be posted here. Oh sure, just put in Dead of 2015 Sir Creep; why at you a pain in the arse Sir Creep? It's what I do. On June 20, Chuck VonDerAhe, a former President of Atheist Alliance of America, died after a battle with cancer. He was 66 years old. Christine Shellska, AAA’s current President, said that Chuck bequeathed his estate to the organization. Unless a misspelling, the search box comes up empty. How the hell did we all miss THIS one from late May??! Former Rep. Steve LaTourette (Ohio), gravely ill with pancreatic cancer, has filed a claim against the government over the treatment he received from his Capitol doctors, claiming they failed to pass along critical information about a lesion on the organ and the need for follow-up monitoring. Story was carried in UK as well so no excuses lol. SC http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/05/27/former-rep-latourette-files-claim-against-us-government-over-missed-cancer/

A unique pick bonus could be heading Handrejka's way - Holly Woodlawn is very unwell, suffering from 'lesions' on the lungs and brain. This site is raising cash for her nursing care...and funeral I won't ask how anyone would have known of her, much less her. Crazy. I've no business being on the same Web page.SC Each to their own. Surely everyone has heard 'Walk On The Wild Side'. She is far more interesting to me than baseball coaches and presidents of US colleges that I've never heard of. I believe I've been misunderstood. I'm saying that is an astounding selection and I'm not worthy to be in the presence of those so astute. I wasn't being sarcastic. Of course I know the Lou Reed song--not sure how that leapfrogs to knowing that he was talking about a real person, and then find out about said real person. Is that common knowledge? SC

I don't recall names, but about 2004 the last Civil War widow died. See back then, the old vets got a pension and some destitute girl would be 'taken care of' (somehow for $4/month or something lol) and it was a courtesy marriage to allow the benefit to pass to the wife. So there were more than a few instances of an 80-yr old Civil War get (b 1844 let's say) marrying an 18-yr old; obviously a couple times, including the last surviving widow, they conceived a child. So when she died at 95 or so in 2004, she had a son who was 72 or so. My immediate thought was "GODDAMN he could STILL have a kid and that kid would live circa 2005-2100 and say their grandfather fought in the Civil War!!!!!!"Sadly to my knowledge no such conception has occurred. But no doubt that a couple children of Civil War vets are walking the Earth. SC

Lol yes I saw that after I posted. Whatever my twisted algorithm was for inclusion, sadly no David Davies met the mark. As it was I couldn't find any information on MPs after the letter H or so on the qualities I was looking for, thus I'm heavily weighted the first few letters of the alphabet. SC

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?
Sir Creep replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
You must be one of the only person not to watch it yet... Been watching a lot of Spooks recently. I've never watched it. I've never seen Star Wars or a Harry Potter film either. Me neither (Breaking Bad). Granted that would require satellite TV or Netflix, neither have I. SC -
What you got against people called Davies? Just noticed I have four Davids as well. If there was a David Davies, well....SC (Edit: I should have responded something totally irrational like I FUCKING HATE PEOPLE NAMED DAVIES!!!)

John Whitman, the husband of former Republican Gov. Christine Todd Whitman and the state's first-ever first gentleman, died Thursday. He was 71. He died at Morristown Medical Center after suffering a catastrophic brain injury in mid-June. His grandfather was a former Governor of New York so he's a DOUBLE fringe! Toupee or not Toupee....that is the question
Sir Creep replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I like the idea of this thread but seems extra-curricular. I'm trying to come up with some names....off the top of my head. Coat, please... SC -
Always sad to hear stuff like this. I'll just simply disagree with you in principal Y-Dub. "Let's not bicker about who killed who. A wedding is supposed to be a HAPPY occasion!" SC

So he would have been proud of some of the running and scrambling when they had that gunman a few years back, then. As well as his brilliant QB Michael Vick. SC

I just found these two gifts from heaven--or hell as it were--for 2016 should you feel they could obit! "The two surviving senior leaders of Cambodia’s former Khmer Rouge regime launched appeals on Thursday of their convictions by a U.N.-backed tribunal that sentenced them to life in prison for their roles during the group’s brutal rule in the 1970s. Khieu Samphan, the Khmer Rouge’s 83-year-old former head of state, and Nuon Chea, its 88-year-old chief ideologue, appeared in court on Thursday for the first day of the appeals. The tribunal said a ruling on the appeals by its Supreme Court is not expected until early next year. The two men, both frail and ailing, are the regime’s only surviving leaders. The case against them was divided into separate smaller trials in an effort to render justice before they die. American Football Players
Sir Creep replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList Forum
Sad couple of months to be a former Detroit Lion. Their teams 1970-76 sucked ass. About the only player worth a damn was Charlie Sanders, and like many boys growing up in the D in that era, he was a favorite player. RIP Charlie, sorry you didn't get to play on better teams, yet still made the HOF. SirC http://www.myfoxdetroit.com/story/29464604/detroit-lions-hall-of-famer-charlie-sanders-dead-at-68 -
Former Virginia athletic director Jim Weaver has died. He was 70. The university said in a news release that Weaver died Thursday morning. He disclosed in 2008 that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and he retired for health reasons in 2013. He served as Virginia Tech's athletic director for 16 years, the second-longest tenure in school history. My GG-Grandmother from Ireland supposedly died at 102, and got a big write up in the newspaper; modern research suggests the informant (my G-Grandfather her son) kinda made it up, as she was very likely 88 instead. Tombstone shows 102 though pfft. The women-folk seem to last to mid-80s in my tree, the men as long as the bottle will allow. My older sister's mother-in-law is 93 and rolling along without any terrible medical needs to date. She attended my mother's wake in January and was as spry as a 93-yr old should be. SirC

Movie director and producer Ernest Lehman, 10 years. For those posting any-old-year anniversaries, the fact you left Lee Remick (d 1991) off this board could mean I am the only hetero male here. SC
